The food was fresh and hot, friendly staff and courteous, but poor food presentation, messy, and a hair in one of the shawermas. The fries were very oily and stale, and the shawermas are counterfeited shawermas. I can understand that I got there an hour before they closed and they asked me to cook the meat on the grill since the chicken and beef skewers were out, yet I felt disappointed later on that my shawermas are not what I expected to be made the authentic right way! The beef and chicken were not shredded, they were plain beef stew and whole grilled chicken stuffed in pita bread. No appealing visual presentation. My suggestion is to visit Pita Loco in Boca Raton and Al-Natour in Plantation to experience a real beautiful looking Middle Eastern Shawerma with awesome crunchy French fries.

This is the best place to eat in South Florida!!! I am a picky eater. I like good food, good service, and consistency, unfortunately this 3 thing are very hard to find in restaurants in South Florida. Sometimes I like a restaurant but I go the second time and it’s disgusting, restaurants are always changing suppliers to save money and that affects the quality of their food, with the exception of Sunrise Pita Grill!!! Every time I go there the food it’s delicious, fresh and it always taste the same…DELICIOUS!! This is my favorite restaurant, I live in Pines and I don’t mind driving to Sunrise, It is always worth it!! Everything here it’s good! This is a must go Restaurant.

I am on business in Sunrise for a week...I decided to stop at Primantis yesterday, to try their famous sandwich. Primantis is a couple of hundred feet down the road. It was a good pastrami sandwich...but it is NOTHING compared to Sunrise Pitas Chicken Shawarma Baguette. I never had Israeli food and just told the cook to put whatever he wanted on it. WOW! MIND=BLOWN! This is easily the best sandwich you will ever have. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. I am driving this sandwich to my wife 5 hours from here. Thats how great it is! Great job, very impressed!

Must be better than what I experienced. Place was crowded and very noisy when I was there on a Thursday eve. Menu was confusing, I could not tell what was included with what. Wanted Falafel, salad, and a couple other things on a platter. Got a pita jammed full with everything I had wanted separate. Onion rings should be outlawed, awful frozen, greasy, not good. I really want to like the place but they have to do a better job of answering customer questions.

If you are looking for an International taste, this is your place! I thought this place was great! I went on a weekday around noon and it was packed. Everybody seemed to know what to order (which meant they frequented the place), but it was my first time trying the food. It was really good, and the people serving help you and ask you if you like spicy or certain things if they see its your first time. Totally recommend their famous sandwich and fries, too!!

The best shawarma pita ever. Their falafel was off the hook. Best Ive had since the mid-town Manhattan food trucks. Perhaps what makes this place even better is the warm and welcoming attitude of the staff. I went in for the falafel pita but got curious about how good the shawarma looked. One of the guys just gave a generous sample on the house and made a believer out of me. Super cool place and will definitely will be visiting again.

Open the door and you will be inside of a Tel Aviv original street restaurant. Everything they have in the menu is fresh, tasty and well served in big sizes. The crew is super friendly and always recommending something new. Clean and fresh. The only negative is that is closed on Fridays. Dont miss this place if you are in the Plantation-Sunrise Area, you will need to travel to Israel to have same quality of food!!!

the best Israeli food in the south east. the Shawarma , the Falafel and Humus are beating those in Israel. the Schnitzel is amazing too. the Stuff is so nice and friendly. The prices are great too, and they deliver in the area. i start to eat there once a week as i Love it so much . feels like home. There is a guy calls Moshe who always greet everybody with a big smile and warm hello, no matter how busy he is.

I got the mini side plates, and each and every side dish was delicious. The meat was savory as well. My boyfriend got the baguette, and that seemed to give you the most bang for your buck. My roommate got the pita, and it was a little small. The restaurant also offers desserts, ethnic sodas and Turkish coffee. Overall, we were all very happy with our orders and would be willing to return.

The absolute best Israeli/middle eastern food in Florida. Their falafel is honestly the best Ive had in the entire country, as well as their shawarma. I highly suggest the Pargiot, boneless chicken thigh fillets in special marinade, magnificent. An assortment of middle eastern salads, entrees and deserts. Ive never had anything I disliked from this place.

טעים מאוד. אני ואישתי היינו שם לפניי קצת יותר מחודש ומאוד נהנו מהאוכל. מזכיר את ישראל בטעמים בניחוחות וכמובן בשפה המדוברת במקום

This restaurant is GODLIKE. Best pita in Florida, if not the entire country. I cant say enough about how good it is. And on top of that, its cheap, and the staff is friendly. I believe its full kosher, too, if you are interested in that sort of thing. Personally, I just care about how the food tastes, and Sunrise Pita is as good as it gets.

They make one of the best falafels that Ive ever had....and Ive tasted many since I lived in Israel for a number of years; the falafels at Sunrise Pita have a good recipe & the texture was perfect. The interior is also very nice, clean & spacious enough to sit for a big guy like me. I highly recommend!!!

I used to go to the place once a week when I worked in Ft. Lauderdale to get the shawarma lafa. It is indescribably delicious. I work in Boca now, and I sorely miss this place. When ordering the shawarma lafa, be sure to ask them to put some french fries in it. Truly a gem of a restaurant!

Terrible. Called in to go order today, showed up 35 minutes later, and the dudes were clueless to the order, and then they remembered. . And then had the nerve to say he will make it right now so supposed to wait a total of one hour for my damn food? wont be back there again

It will change you perception of falafel. I hated falafel before eating here and still do hate it of its anywhere else. Their falafel are the softest and most flavorful I have eaten. I tried halal guys and they were like hard dry balls. Love the falafel pita sandwich.
