Id lived in Essex Junction for years before I ever went to "QBS" - dont let the looks fool you (looks a bit like a dated diner in a strip mall). The baked goods at QBS are amazing - Their glazed doughnuts melt in your mouth. Cookies and cakes are great too - but these guys are so much more than baked goods! Theres the lunch counter (and breakfast too) - breakfast and lunch. Definitely a loyal local crowd (for good reason). Oh and their meat pies! Just like my Memere used to make.

This is an old fashion bake shop and diner. Dont go here for fancy croissants and Starbuckian type stuff. This place is for basic coffee and donuts. Great deals on day old bags of pastries. Old timers like to hang out here and chat. Its that kind of place, with that Formica style atmosphere.
