The unassuming location and exterior might lead you to pass this place up but I recommend checking it out. I actually drove right past it because the signage is a bit subdued. I love German food and the sauerbraten with red cabbage and spaetzle did not disappoint. The meat was so tender and the spaetzle was perfect. My wife ordered the Guinness Steak Pie which arrived with the fluffiest breaded topping on it. The steak was equally tender and the pie was flavorful. Great find! Expansive menu so given the quality of this meal, we will definitely go back to try more. Service was timely and attentive.

I just went with my family and it was a very pleasant little place and the staff was nice. There was a very minor mix up between our order and the kitchen but the woman apologized and got it fixed in no time. My only complaint is the cornbeef sandwich my grandmother got was dry and my penne vodka had an after taste. We sat against the wall where the computer was and i could see our waitress watching us from the corner, not using the computer. She was simply watching us which was a little unnerving. Everything else was great though and we might go back

Everything a local watering hole should be. Friendly staff, good food, and great thin crust pizza. One of the most delicious appetizers I have ever had: Armadillo Eggs. Outstanding!!!

Extremely satisfied with the service and the place. The food was really good! We had the Grilled Salmon, Chicken Francese, Calamari & Chicken Parm. Will definitely be back

Been going ever since it was Burkes. Good burgers plus a mix of German food. Thin crust pizza is not bad either. Sometimes go to the bar and have pizza and beer.
