Ya Ya Noodle is an excellent place to get authentic Asian food that simply isnt available at the more Americanized restaurants. Your local Chinese take-out place is unlikely to have jellyfish or beef tendons on the menu, but not so here at Ya Ya. The flip side, of course, is that this restaurant may come as something of a culture shock to the uninitiated. Even the more "traditional" (from an American perspective, at least) dishes, such as Chicken and Cashews, will come out looking and tasting rather foreign. Newcomers would do well to keep an open mind when their order hits the table. On a recent trip to Ya Ya, our group got an eclectic mix of Chinese, Japanese (Sushi), and Thai food. All of the food was quite good, though the higher marks would have to be awarded to the Thai and Japanese dishes. As with most places which attempt to tackle multiple disciplines of Asian food, some are stronger than others. The only real complaint was the service. Despite the restaurant not being exceptionally busy (it was a Wednesday night), we had several problems with our order. One meal was brought to the table which no one had ordered, and one meal wasnt brought out until many in the party had already finished eating. On a bill that totaled over $200, thats not the sort of service we were expecting. I will concede that there may have been extenuating circumstances which we were not aware of, but on first impression, I would be hesitant to recommend Ya Ya based on the service issues alone.

Placed an order for 2 large Chicken Chow Mien(plus other stuff) the girl read back something that sounded similar but not exactly the same so I said it again....same thing. So I didnt want to be rude and I figured she got it since I said it twice....nope. Not sure what it was but it wasnt Chow Mien. I really in the mood for Chow Mien, but if you cant take an order correctly I cant go to your restaurant.

We had two dishes, one was too bland and mushy and wasnt able to eat it. The other was too salty and too sour. I wasnt able to communicate with server well. My kids said the best part of dinner was the bowl of rice. Sigh. No offer of packaging either - I wouldnt take it home anyway, maybe he just figured that out..

Ya Ya Noodle is now serving Dim Sum on Saturday and Sunday from 11-3 pm. My husband and I ate there today. Dim Sum was absolutely wonderful, we enjoyed every single bite. They have cart service with a variety of delicious hot steamed items you can choose from for a very reasonable price. Great!!!

Mid-sized Chinese restaurant with sushi bar and lots of free parking. Very reasonably priced. Very fresh ingrediences and excellent fresh food. Furniture and decor a bit worn. Very busy with 50%-75% of customers being Chinese. Food is very good and tasty. Separate kids menu. Friendly wait staff.

We had take out from yaya noodles. And my colleague had a bite of a stone when she was eating the garlic pork. It is a pretty big stone, no idea how did it get into the dishes. Plus the size of the take out house noodle is so small--even though the owner called it "large portion".

This place has a wide variety of dishes and their Lo Mein is excellent. They also have really good sushi. However, compared to the other restaurants nearby, the sushi prices are a bit exorbitant. Their service staff is really nice, attentive and they treat my daughter really well.

I live in the area and eat here often. For the most part the food is pretty good but the dining-in atmosphere is nothing to write home about. I love the chow fun dish. Definitely not health food but a guilty pleasure! In the summer I LIVE for the bubble tea. It is so SO good.

...but then one night we went in for dinner. We were there well ahead of closing time, but the weather was sloppy and the manager decided he wanted to close early and therefore didnt want our business. Their food is fine, but their attitude is poor.

I went here on July 23 and will not go ever again. Ordered chicken with eggplant and chicken was awful. left the most food on plate, paid and walked out. I think that chicken was cooked long long ago and reheated. it gave bad taste and uneatable.

Since being purchased late last year food is terrible; gave it one last try today and basic beef in black bean sauce was drowning in grease and tasted like bad fish. Will not return, after 8 years of patronage.

Good consistent "Americanized" Chinese food. They have great lunch specials for around $8. Fast service too! They just started serving dim sum on weekends as well. Not the best ambiance but the food is good.

Ya Ya is one of the best Chinese food places in central nj. I dont know what my team would have done without getting takeout from them once a week for about 3 months of 80 hour weeks.

Outstanding food and service, much better than any like it in the area. Their General Tsos chicken is the only one I like around here.

Had their house noodle bowl. The broth was a bit bland. The wontons are to die for though.
