I took my family here based on the recommendation of a co-worker and could not be happier at our choice. We will definitely be visiting again. This is my first ever review of a review of a restaurant so please bear with me. We drove up in our Jeep,wearing flannels and sweatshirts, and were at first a little intimidated by the clientele at the time. We sucked it up and entered into the lobby where we were immediately greeted by the hostess and owners who made us feel immediately like we were home and seated us. The sounds around us were very silly of sorts, aka "you HAVE to try this" and "Oh My God this is awesome". Asian/Chinese food critics we are not, but THIS was motivating! We settled on the Jersey Devil Sushi and Avocado Salad as appetizers; each in their own right was worthy of a review but I digress, delicious. Our main meal was Grandfathers Chicken (their version of Gen Tsos with a pick your level of heat) and Rice. Both came out fantastically prepared, delicious, and ready for the take home box because of the portion sizes. My wife chose the Lobster and rice to which she could not speak highly enough. She chose the Ginger and Scallion sauce which she could not stop complimenting. We did opt for the dessert menu, and all of the entrees were delicious of course. If I can impress on you anything, let it be that everyone seemed to leave happy and satisfied. Every customer had something to say in passing on how good your plate looked, or how good theirs was. The word "Gourmet Chinese" even passed by our table once but Id rather think of Tres Yan &Wu as a fantastic Restaurant worthy of an honest review. Thank you

After years of China town, Philadelphia treks we finally found a South Jersey oasis of consistant and fresh Chinese fare in Mount Laural New Jersey. We live in Mount Holly, and have consistantly been disappointed with recommendations by our friends about what people swear are authentic and delicious Chinese restaurants. These people were probably weaned on Subway and Dominos or had their palates desensitized by what most National chains pass off as family fare. Thank God for Tres Yan&Wu! 10 minutes from our home and worth twice the trip for the quality of food and service. This is our go to place and everyone who we have introduced to this place loves it. Great food, great service and a comfortable dining environment.

We were extremely disappointed. The chicken was nearly raw - severely undercooked to the point of being unhealthy. The waiter was accommodating, however the management refused to take the item off the bill because "the chef said it was perfect" - despite everyone at our table tasting it and finding it raw. Mistakes happen - we would have been happy with a friendly apology and coffee. Order sushi if you go, since it is mostly served raw!

I stopped by for take out and was so very pleased with the service I received upon walking in the door. The young woman up front was so very helpful and friendly! The restaurants decor is SO very inviting and immaculate! I will certainly stay next time I visit. And as for the food... well, it was just outstanding! So very fresh and delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this place and have a feeling I will be becoming a regular here!

I always go here and I consider it a hidden gem. The prices are worth it for the best chinese food Ive ever had. The only thing better than their food is their service as they always greet you with a smile and are extremely courteous. Ive been meaning to write a review of this place for a while since I feel as though they deserve more business. This place has been great for take out and dining in each time I have been here.
