In one word, AWESOME. We were staying down the road at the Hilton and did nit want to have over priced hotel restaurant food. So were looking for a local place to have breakfast. Initially we did a search for best breakfast places and actually found "Beachside Cafe" which was rated higher and was much closer to hotel. However, after reading some of the reviews referencing the fact that they mostly cater to racist crowd, although we are White, decided against it and came here instead. Extremely glad we did. Very cozy atmosphere, with very friendly staff and great food. Will certainly be back in the future.

We totally recommend this place for breakfast. Everything is a la carte and homemade. The breakfast sausages were to die for - big, moist, flavorful and, of course, homemade. No little dried up brown links here. The marmalades and breads were outstanding as well. Friendly family staff. Exactly the pricing we were looking for in a breakfast place too. For two of us, we paid under $20 with a great tip. Seating is limited, but we never had a problem being seated right away.

We love this family owned local restaurant! They homemake everything from bread and bagels, to jam and hot sauce. Theyre open 7 to 7 M-S and Sunday til 3. Super friendly, great service and they let you custom build your own meals, you choose how much and what you want. Excellent espresso cappuccino drinks and they grind their own local beans! This will be your new favorite spot. I probably shouldnt even post this review because now we wont be able to find a seat.

This is Melbournes best kept, local secret. If you love homemade food at an affordable price, this place is a must. They even brew their own beans. Nothing fancy but youll want to stay until your food digests and ready to order lunch!

This was by far the best breakfast out lve had. The food was very fresh and made from scratch. Try the made from scratch breakfast sausage and raspberry jam. We had excellent service and felt welcomed.
