I have been a fan of paneras for several years and I have always been pleased with my experience at all of their establishments. The Panera at Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester, CT is a complete exception to that rule. The cashier was friendly and polite. The restaurant was neat and clean. The food was the absolute worse that I have experienced at Panera ever. I do mean ever. I ordered a salmon mediterrean salad and it was terrible. The salad was old, the olives were not even worth mentioning, there were three mandarin oranges and it simply looked disgusting the salmon was just thrown on the top of the salad with fat gel and everything as if it had been taken out of a can or some package and extremely cold. I thought for a moment it might have been frozen. My friend ordered the french onion soup and chicken ceasar salad. The salad had old stale croutons on it. The soup was cold and looked nothing like a french onion soup I have ordered from any other Panera. Then just like the other review it was also not hot. The bread was hard like a rock. My biggest issue with this Panera is that this was my friends first time eating at Panera and my first time at the one at Bucklands. I felt bad her experience had to be from this place because it does not do Panera justice. Panera is so much better than this. It is the food here that needs much improvement.

Entered about 6pm. Lets start with the girl that took our order. She obviously hates her job and wanted to be anywhere but there. Next they were out of Caesar dressing so no ceased salad. The girl was not interested in telling us the other dressing choices. Floor was dirty and store did not feel "taken care of." While we waited for food another customer was told they had run out of whatever sauce that goes on the kids sandwich. The customer asked the lady making food what the other options were and the employee responded with "I dont know". The food we received was not fresh and the quality of preparation was sub-par. There is another Panera not far away. Maybe they care more? This location just needs better management.

Hands down worst Panera bread Ive ever been too. Cashier was rude and unhelpful and unaware when asked about what items on the menu contain what. She obviously didnt seem to care I asked for allergy purposes. Also one of the cooks on the line while making sandwiches was complaining and talking loudly about another employee and what seemed to be tension because another employee "snitched". Anyway the employee kept saying "Ill quit" and "if this man touches me again I swear" it was all just very uncomfortable!! The line also looks disgusting and things were thrown around and looked dirty. My question is where is the manager?!

Can be long waits at times and I cant stand how small the pieces of bread are when you order a BOWL of soup, especially the cheddar broccoli soup that I love dipping the bread in. The prices are a bit ridiculous, $5.63 for soup, the least thet could do is give more bread. Have had a few employees come back with pieces of hair baked in cookies, muffins, and soufflé. Overall, Ive never had a bad experience myself and I will continue to eat there. I highly recommend the garden veggie soup!

Never really went to panera before. Got a sausage egg and cheese on ciabatta for breakfast. it was squished flat and It had no flavor. couldnt even taste the vermont cheddar. Also i asked for an orange juice and they want $2.50 for a child size juice bottle and $2 for a knock off bottle of water. If you have money to burn, go to panera.

Best food ever! Veggies are very fresh. My daughter got the Mac n cheese and she loved. The employees have a great attitude and make you feel important unlike McDonalds. If you are in the area and looking for delicious food, make sure to come to Panera Bread. I promise it will be the best food you have ever had.
