Ive been coming here since it first opened up as a Martha & Brothers Coffee shop. The coffee is absolutely excellent! I usually just get coffee, and it definitely gives your Starbucks, Peets, and etc. a run for their money straight coffee wise. It has a nice strength that I personally always appreciate and enjoy. They have an incredible menu and a great selection of sandwiches, salads, pastries, bagels, and other drinks that look really good! I do look forward to trying more of their selections, because theres such a variety of them and they all look great. One thing I can attest to besides the coffee is the Maté Latté! Hot or iced, it is just absolutely delicious! Ive never seen it or had it anywhere else but here and I do suggest people try it. Maté has a very distinctively delicious taste, especially as a latté. It is hands down my second favorite beverage from Cumaica besides the coffee itself. The location itself is really great. They have a nice spacious layout, they have the tall counter seating facing the street and on warm days they even open them up for the breeze to flow through. Id have to say those are my favorite seats, you can just people watch and just zone out from the hustle and bustle of Mission Street. They have an absolutely lovely back yard area with seating and everything if you want to be outside but not look onto the street. Great place to stop by for a coffee or lunch. One of my top favorite coffee shops in the City, hands down.

Great service, friendly staff who serve with a smile. Take credit w/ $5 minimum purchase. I had a latte and a hummus bagel with veggies. All totaled ~$9.50. Coffee is great quality, and they have decent snacks, beverages, pastries, and sandwiches. Excellent Latin music and Free WiFi...good connection. Not a lot of outlets to plug into though, and it gets pretty noisy when they grind beans. Buses run up and down the street; street parking is metered unless you find a space a couple blocks up the hill.

Pretty good! The coffee is fine. The mochas taste a little like hot chocolate. They do at other coffee shops in the area as well though. The shop is pretty. Theres music playing, but it doesnt interfere with your conversations or thoughts. The wifi works like a champ. Theres a very nice patio out back. What would be super-cool: If they accepted <$5 debit card transactions. Last reviewed: 6/19/2015 Reason for the trip: Headed into town to work.

Cumaica is one of my favorite coffee places. It has a great atmosphere for getting work done: good sunlight coming through from the front, quiet noise level, adequate outlets, and free wi-fi. And, as a cherry on top, the coffee (I usually get ice coffee black) is one of the best Ive had as well - though Im no expert on coffee.

Never find parking. Fighting with parents picking up their kids from the over populated daycare a few doors up the block. Vagrants everywhere. Even the "barista" fights for her parking. Idk about the coffee, I gave up before I could even get an order in.

Not the type of place that is comparable to the craft pourover spots in town, but it had a nice atmosphere. The mocha kinda tasted like hot chocolate mix, but I was OK with that.

Breakfast bagels and coffee were great. I wish Id tried it with one of the meat options, but 5 bucks for a breakfast bagel was appealing.

Nice atmosphere. A bit drafty due to an open door, sometimes. Backyard. I feel comfortable here.
