Its the real deal. This brought me right back to the delis in Italy. Extremely authentic!! They are native Italians that work here! You can build your own sandwich with plenty of tasty options for a great price. I had a smoked prosciutto and Pecorino Romano sandwich on focaccia with sun dried tomato spread and put roasted eggplant on it one day, and roasted red pepper the next. Went one day, and it was so delicious that I went back the next day and brought my family. Best sandwich I have had since Italy!!! They also have scrumptious dolci their as well. Extremely impressed with everything! I will be going back every time I am in Grass Valley. Bravo!!

Love LA Gastronomia! Fabulous Food made Fresh daily! Traditional Italian food, amazing lasagna, many different types, excellent Pizza, the best meatballs, and pastas by hand! And amazing traditional sauces.. They make incredible sandwiches, and so much more! And they have the best selection of Italian meats and cheeses youll find anywhere! Oooh and dont forget the desserts!! Must try the tiramisu, its unlike any Ive tried before, so much better! And all of the tiny pies, especially chocolate cream and lemon meringue! My favorite! Fabulous people, fabulous food! I stop by every time Im in Grass Valley.. Cuz Im happily addicted

The sandwiches are so delicious! I havent had the chance to try the rest of their food, but it all looks delicious! The owner and employees are all so nice and polite! Really enjoy this place and will definitely be back! True Italian food!

Wow what a treat to have authentic Italian food in Grass Valley! I put in an order for gnocchi and they made it fresh right before I picked it up! Who does that? You cannot find this level of service anywhere else around here!

Authentic Italian cured meats & cheese made on site. If you cant go to Italy this is the next best thing. You can also get their homemade lasagna.
