Great Restaurant. I went in on March 17th 2017 to celebrate my birthday. Nick was our waiter and he was amazing. Someone else took over because Nick had to depart. I was given a birthday card that was left on the table. The card was a medium size red envelope that was not opened and was filled with birthday money. After leaving the restaurant and tipping very well, I noticed that I left my birthday card so I called in to see if the cleaning person (bus boy) who cleans the table might of put it away for me and Im able to come back and pick it up. I was told by the manager that anything left on the table would be thrown away. So the manager took my info and said she will check everywhere for it and also have someone go through the trash to see if they can see it. Well to my surprise they called back saying it was not even located in the trash and no one returned it. I was very sad because if I was the cleaning person cleaning that table, that card would of definitely been noticeable to me and I would of gave it to the store manager. I feel like the cleaning person was not being honest. I have a photo with the card sitting on the table and their is no way that the card could of been missed. I guess that person needed it more then me. As much as I like Olive Garden, I will not visit the restaurant for a while. Im just mind blown that the card just disappeared without a trace. And the only person who would of seen it was the waitress who took over or that cleaning person who cleans the table up.

I dont want to underplay my actual meal so I will put this paragraph first because my meal was really good. The sauces were excellent and just the right amount of it too. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and observant and very nice and personable. The hostesses were sweet and held the door open for us when we left and gave us exiting courtesies. I ordered the Tour of Italy which includes Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna Classico and Veal Parmesan. The meal was great the bread sticks and salad were disappointing. There was none of the buttery sauce on my bread stick so it just tasted like plain bread and the salad which is half the reason we go there was limp and didnt even have enough dressing on it to taste. They put my Fettuccine Alfredo in between both of my tomato dishes so its now Fettuccine Tomato Alfredo. Its still good but not what I ordered and expected. My waiter was great though. Got my drink with no ice, a dish of lemons instead of putting them right in my drink (I really do prefer this, because I dont always think they wash garnishes and I like to eye it up myself lol), he also was very prompt with our food being hot and our bill and getting me another knife because I sent mine back with my salad plate. So, the meal and services were awesome, just a few disappointments with the bread sticks and salad. But I would still recommend the Olive Garden for a place to go for a decent Italian meal. But then theres always Gabrielas hahaha.

Two stars to the kitchen staff. While my chicken gnocchi was more water than cream at least it was hot. Our particular server was Terrible, capital T intentional. If it were possible to give her no stars it would still be too many. Didnt bring our drinks until I asked a manager to track her down. She then proceeded to spill ice coffee into my raspberry lemonade as she was so consumed with rubber necking at want every other server was doing. Providing cheese for my soup seemed to be a massive inconvenience. She all but threw our plates on the table when food fiiiiinaally did make its way to the table and tool off again. My spaghetti looks like its been sitting under the hot lamp for the past 40 mins. Forget about getting any cheese for it. The poor manager is doing his best to run behind her appeasing disgruntled tables. Heres a tip Tracy stop being so damn focused on what everyone else is doing and taking personal conversations in the lobby and just bring your tables the right meals!

Came in at 11:30. Ordered water and salad for everyone. First no plates to eat on. Then my salad oil was empty. Told 3 different waitresses and finally got oil after all soups were delivered. Waitress said...Are we done now? No...three people never got their meals including the birthday girl. Still sitting here. No food yet. Have to be back to work at 1PM. Its 12:42 now. Horrible, horrible, horrible service. I finally got my gluten free rotini but had 5 min to scarf it down. UPDATE: The manager of this Harrisburg Olive Garden came over and asked how we were doing. We all told him the horrible service we had and how our office comes there for parties all the time. He took care of the bill! So for this visit, I will give an extra star. The York Olive Garden has never let us down. Great service. Great food. When Im not at a work party...I go there.

I honestly dont know why people flock to this place; the service is inconsistent granted an odd few servers do earnestly try to do a good job, but the food is consistently terrible. My last time there I ordered the seafood alfredo, but what I got was a lumpy burnt mess of curdled cream buried underneath a pool of oil. It reeked of rotten shellfish, butter and salt. What kills me is that this dish cost $20, even though a frozen TV dinner would have been preferable. Being inedible, I sent it back and ordered the capellini pomodoro instead. It came out quickly, but looked just as microwaved as the first dish. The pasta and pomodoro sauce were soggy and flavorless as if it had come out of a can. If youre looking for a real-life version of that crappy Ryan Reynolds movie "Waiting", this is the place to be.

Ate here with my family. It was so bad that it doesnt even deserve a star. The waiter was horrible, we had to keep asking for bread sticks and none was brought to our table until the 4th time we asked. Their salmon tasted too much like fish and not like the usual salmon I order at my home OG, where it should have flavor. I had to add a lot of salt, pepper, and lemon to make it somewhat flavorful. My familys food came out cold. They put salad in the bowl just enough for one plate. And on top of that, a staff member kept asking for help to clean a couple of tables off to put together for a big party and no one came, even our waiter just looked at her and walked away. I would not recommend this place to anyone. And I love the Olive Garden from back home....

So I came here on Labor Day from my long trip from NY and was like happy to see Olive Garden but The place smelled bad from the moment I walked in until the time I left. Then asked for the menu so I can get the lunch special 6.99 since I came here at 1pm and was told they didnt have the lunch deal on Labor Day. I never heard that with any company that they didnt honor something thats being promoted. Also when I went online to check if it excluded the deal on holidays. And it didnt say anything about it then also saw other people get there food first when I was their first and ordered before them(15mins before they even sat down) also the manager never came to explain or apologize for not being about to honor the promotion.
