Knotty Pig is a place you go for a great, greasy melt in your mouth burger or some decent bbq. I ordered the grilled cheeseburger lunch special and was pleasantly surprised by the crispiness of the texas toast and the melty goodness of the globs of American cheese and delicious 1/3 pound patty. I had a coworker order the bbq and they mentioned that it was great! Portion size was a big plus, as well! You order the lunch special for just over $8 with tax and you receive one very sizeable side item, your main entrée, and a drink. The service was just okay, so that would be the only thing I would say is a con of going here. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through Tulsa or even a local for a good place to eat some fatty, no-restrictions food!

Knotty Pine BBQ on the WEST side. Went last night. Greeted by a hostess who was stuffing catfish down her gullet. (She looked like she might have recently frequented a methadone clinic) Noticed several tables not bussed and left that way for our entire visit. We were told they were out of ribs. Hungry so we ordered a brisket & hot link sandwich. Shorty after that I noticed a couple leaving disappointed about the Rib shortage. The quality of the food was poor overall. The Only saving grace was a sweet young enthusiastic waitress who could not have been any better. Life Lesson- Ill be heading to RIB CRIB from now on !

Really yummy food! Great staff but pretty slow service; typically a BBQ restaurant is pretty quick but Im guessing theyre slowed down a bit due to the extensive menu. Tried 3 different meats, pulled pork which was excellent, chopped brisket was delicious and the ribs were good. The beef & pork were the stars of the proteins. The sides we had were the cowboy beans which were very good, the slaw was also very good and the mac-n-cheese was also good. The onion rings were an appetizer and reminiscent of the old East Side Cafe rings; I loved them. Well definitely be back again!!!

As most of us in the Tulsa metroplex felt, it was a sad day when the original Knotty Pine burned down in West Tulsa. After 10 years, and a couple of unsuccessful relocations, they have settled just east of Sheridan on 15th Street. The ribs and sausage are as I remember them from their original location and their unique burger selection only adds to the experience. I have visited 3 times in the last month, having the catfish, BBQ and a burger and all 3 were fantastic. What a treat to have such a great little place within a few miles of home! Welcome to the neighborhood!

This place is horrible! Waitstaff is extremely rude, the kitchen staff is unsanitary! I saw a shorter man, id say 50 or so in the kitchen touching his face, then the food(multipule times)!! Gross!! The food was discusting, not worth the money I got more more grease on my top bun then you need to cook fried chicken. I sat at the bar on my first and very last visit. Helpful hint: dont sit there, you wont be hungry anymore when your food arrives after watching them cook it. Not sure if Im getting my food or the short cooks face sweat!

Tried this place one time. Hated the chicken, tasted like it had been already cooked and rewarmed. I decided to go again, wanted to try the catfish. The service wasnt good, the French fries were cold, did not care for the catfish at all and I love catfish. The fried pickles are a complete joke! Barely any batter and what little salty batter there is falls off! BBQ sauce very sweet. I will not go there ever again. I wouldnt have even given them one star but had to in order to leave this post.

Was very disappointed. The ribs were like chewing leather or jerky and the sausage tasted like it was boiled in water with the flavor boiled out of it. The sauce was good and the fries were good. Service was good and the dinner was new and clean. I guess the biggest thing I would say is that Tulsa has BBQ places everywhere, good BBQ, smoked meat. This place was more like some of the new chain BBQ place that are not smoking the meat and then adding good BBQ sauce. I wont be back.

Always a great experience! All the staff are super friendly, the sauce is great, the portions are great, and contrary to a previous commenter, the meat is VERY flavorful. Their specialty sandwiches are ala carte, but most of them have a side item in them. The Fat Big is a BBQ sandwich with a fat stack of onion rings on top, and the knotty pig has coleslaw. Both are delicious. Even better, they hand cut their fried so you get those perfect fresh fries.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and very nice. As far as the food its not bad I tried the hogfather and it just seems like too much meat for me a lot of different flavors all at once. The onion rings were good. Its a good little establishment to try. I would recommend this to anyone. Its definitely not the best thing in the world but for the prices I think its a very fair and comparable deal for sure the portions are big.

Must try. Best in Tulsa. Tried this place out a month ago for lunch. Best burger I have had in years! Legit big burger. Great toppings and creative burgers. Customer service was great too. We had multiple people check on our table, see if everything was fine with food, refill our drinks. Only thing better than customer service was the food. Told numerous people about it. Getting hungry writing this review, I think Ill go tomorrow.

Amazing burgers painfully slow service. First few times just thought it was an off day. After several visits its clear the waitresses arent in a hurry and they dont expect your to be in one either. Literally took me 45 minutes to order and receive 1 burger. Great place Id youve got an hour and a half to kick back with friends or your boss doesnt particularly care how long youre gone.

Really good barbecue! First time coming here the other day, and it was really busy. We ordered to go and waited about 20 minutes but I didnt mind because it was worth the wait. The pulled pork was moist and flavorful, the corn nuggets and mac & cheese were delicious. My husband really liked the fried sausage. New favorite bbq joint! Definitely recommend.

Considering how reasonable the prices are the barbecue is amazing! It was sooo good and hefty portions. The fries and ochra were great too. Service was very nice and quick. We got our food in a fair amount of time even though every seat was taken! Will definitely recommend to people and will be back soon!

Love that they moved to Broken Arrow! Quality BBQ just like they used to have at the old west Tulsa place. This place is better though because they have a better selection of desserts and have even added margaritas. Love the atmosphere too, same, but a little cleaner/nicer.

We started eating at the original place back in the 80s. Then we moved to Texas and we would still make trips to OK to eat there and buy the sauce by the gallon. Now we are in Branson and closer. Love the ribs...falls off the bone. So yummy. Headed there this weekend.
