One great experience followed by two bad ones. Wont be going back. The first time we went was for my fathers birthday. The food and service was perfect! We were so happy that we found a great Italian place nearby. The next time we went we tried to get a table for two and a high chair. Owner seemed very accommodating and told us we only had to wait about five minutes. 15 minutes later with a impatient toddler, the owner had seated three other tables. One we knew had reservations because we heard them say it. The third guy came in and hugged the owner and was asked if he had a reservation. He said no, but was given a pat and a table before us as well. The next time we came in for dinner we made sure to make a reservation prior. There were only two other tables and the rest were empty. We still waited over an hour for our dinner and we were told the kitchen lost our ticket and then two of our 5 meals came out cold. Very disappointing.

Food was good. Our server was absolutely great and attentive. We loved the place until the owner came over and ignorantly told my 5 year old to turn off the phone we were using to entertain her. Mind you, the place is extremely loud on a Friday evening and the phone wasnt obnoxiously loud by any means. For a family who just moved to the area and first visit here, the first impression isnt making me plan my next visit. We asked the person that sat us where the best place to sit was with a child who has special needs. She explained that we would be okay anywhere. I, as a mother of a child with special needs, understand that it could be a little irritating or annoying when other people have to sit right next to us and attempt to enjoy their dinner. However, as an owner of a "family friendly" restaurant, you need to be inviting and understanding towards "special babies" or post up a sign saying "adults only".

We took our daughter and her boyfriend to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Dante provided a wonderful table, which allowed us to talk to each other without yelling over each other or the loud noise like you experience at chain restaurants. Can you imagine an Italian place serving better steaks than the fancy steak restaurants in the area?! Not only that, but the rest of the Italian menu is superb as well. Combine that with excellent service and family atmosphere, and you have one of the best restaurants around. I dont have to drive to the city to experience a great Italian restaurant - I have IT in my own back yard! Sometimes I regret posting these ratings for fear Im going to tell everyone what a great place this is and lose my ability to get a table whenever I want.

My wife and I went here for a date and absolutely loved the place. We were a little worried when we pulled up to the place because it didnt look like much from the outside, but it ended up being a great restaurant. The food was amazing and had fair prices. The service was excellent. Our server was timely about getting our order and bringing the food out. I also thought the owner was hilarious and super friendly. We would go here more often if it was closer to us. It is a friendly environment so people are talking all around you which makes it a little loud but as long as your not looking for a quite place to eat I would definitely recommend it. My wife and I aways talk about when well be able to go back.

Went there for Mothers Day brunch 2016 with my family of 10 at 1:00pm. Brunch special was $25.95 pp. I only had 2 crab legs before they ran out completely. Said something to manager and was passive aggresively blown off. They didnt supply crab pliers to crack the claws. The breakfast buffet did not have hash browns like the flier said it would. The bacon was more like bacon bits. Barely had any French toast available. Crab balls were ice cold smothered in some sort of creamy sauce. However the made to order omlette was good which is the only reason Im giving them 2 stars. It definitely wasnt worth the money.

OMG, first time there. I got the SHRIMP SCAMPI for $17.95. It was 4 shrimp over about a pound of semi dry cooked linguine, no sauce or anything. What is someone supposed to do with a pound of semi dry pasta. The shrimp were good, but no where near $18 good. I probably should have asked, but who would have thought someone would, honestly and with a straight face, be expected to eat that much cooked pasta with nothing with it. I went by other reviews and have never written one of these before. Never even walking by that place again (unless riots break out here like London). Unbelievably bad.

On this rainy day we decided to have lunch at Liberatores in Eldersburg. What a special treat, we had a wonderful new waiter Lawrence help us with the decisions on what to have for lunch. Everything was perfect, from the pizza to the shrimp nest. Our granddaughter has a wheat allergy, and Dantes gluten free pasta was just what she wanted, so yummy. Thanks for a wonderful lunch, it brightened our day. Luckily we brought home some crab ravioli. We missed Dante, but well see him soon.

I had a mediocre experience here. Its a cute place and the food was pretty good, although not impressive. Our server was very sweet but it seemed like they were understaffed. It was also very frustrating for our food to have taken so long, even a simple bread basket took a very long time to arrive. However, on a less hectic night, it seems that my family and I would have enjoyed a much more satisfying dining experience.

Liberatores is an authentic Italian experience in Maryland. The decor is very soothing and nice to look at. The staff is very friendly and greet you at the door with an "How was your day?". The food is a little expensive but you pay for what you get and thats delicious food. This is a place you can bring your family to or even an significant other. Either way the experience at this place is something to be remembered.

I cant speak enough for this place. The wait staff is wonderful, they get it and what it means to serve a customer. They want you to enjoy your meal, and guess what, the food is awesome. The cream of crab is simply the best in MD, in this is coming from someone who has had A LOT of it over the years. Nothing I have had here was bad. I would recommend this place to anyone who like good food and good service!

Loved Dante greeting us. He even past time waiting for our table testing our geography knowledge. The meals were awesome. The Veal Saltimbocca was tasty with perfectly cook veal, sauteed spinach in a light sauce. The Tortellacchi Pizzaioli was tortellini stuff with veal and beef and had a fresh tomato cream sauce. This was a gem that we found. If we are in the area again will definitely stop.

My family has been eating at Liberatores since it opened in 1988. Since that time the food has been consistently outstanding. Truly great Italian food complemented with a variety of cuisines. The bar offers an array of choices from bar food, while watching a sporting event on the wide screen televisions, to a dining table and the full menu. The staff is outstanding and welcoming to all.
