I’ve been going to this bar for many years, and thus I will try to provide a complete review, without bias. This will be in bullet format, and hopefully easy to read. This bar has always been very friendly; even to strangers. It’s extremely rare to see a fight or any sort of “riff raft”. Regardless of the day or time, it’s a pleasant environment. The crowd is generally blue collar, yet not completely “redneck”; ranges in age from 20’s to 70’s, and generally white. Daytime lacks any sort of crowd, which is extremely sad because this place has a really great kitchen; they just fail to use it properly. Steak & eggs at 7am, a small lunch menu and a selected dinner menu would be a great idea. Some “fried bar food”, chips & salsa, and popcorn would be a plus. (Owners take note!!) The food menu leaves a lot to be desired. It’s not bad, but the menu is small and overpriced. Increasing the menu would double the business in this place, as it used to be a true “Bar & Grill” many years ago. They are NOT open on Sundays. Monday thru Saturday, 7am-3am. They do provide carryout alcohol sales until 3am; which is later than the “package stores”. Prices are reasonable. Smoking is permitted and wide spread. The bar offers “simple drinks” as I call them. Do NOT expect to order some top shelf fancy mixed drink. Do not expect garnishes on most drinks. This bar does NOT offer tap beer; yet they have a unique tap on the bar. Domestic bottle prices for Bud, Miller and Coors are $2.50. Most common mixed drinks run $3.25-$4.25. Shots are $2.75-$5.00. Be sure to try the “apple pie”. Restrooms are small, but generally clean. 4 soft tip dart boards are available; reasonably priced and darts is very popular here. Leagues and “blind draw” tournaments happen several nights a week. Both men and women play, and the competition ranges from “can’t hit the side of a barn” to “tournament level”. A friendly game can be played with strangers rather easily. No pool tables. No live entertainment other than karaoke. Karaoke is available every Friday & Saturday from 10:30 till close. It’s usually a very fun time. Talent ranges from “Please turn the mic off” to “Mariah Carey”. Music genres are VERY widespread on a weekend and you can sing pretty much whatever you like. Anything from Digital Underground’s “Humpty Dance” to “Amazing Grace”. Rock, pop and country seem to dominate though. Have a few drinks and live out your rock star fantasy sometime. There is a modern Touchtunes jukebox. All the bartenders are very friendly. Cab service is available. Bartenders are happy to call one for you; and alert you when they arrive. Parking is ample for most nights, but not extremely well lit. It is however "safe". Parking nearby is available. There is more than ample seating. The bar rail has about 20 seats. Roughly 15 booths and several larger tables are available in the lounge area. Dance floor is small, but this is a plus if you have 2 left feet like me. Dancing in a 12” square is easy! Give it a try. This is NOT a sports bar. A popular game might be on TV, but good luck watching it on a 23” TV located behind the bar. Bring your binoculars. Don’t be a cheapskate! A reasonable tip in this joint will get you treated like family. Overall, this is a decent place to hang out and have some fun. It’s a bit rough around the edges, and could use a renovation; but the people more than make up for it. If the “club” scene is not your thing, but you want to have a good time; it’s worth stopping in.

Im currently working here as the weekend bartender and I really enjoy this place. We listen to our customers and are making great changes to our little place. First of our food menu has become a must taste BBQ, smoked brisket and chicken, pulled pork. Decently sized plates with great prices. Not to mention karaoke is a great hit for all ages and groups of people to come in and have fun. There has also been some remodeling and prob have the best and cleanest bar/restaurants Bathrooms in kokomo! Havent been to this bar for a while I challenge you to come in and give us a try. Coming from out of town I challenge you to come and try this place out on the weekend and you will end up canceling your plans for the rest of the night. If your a business man or women and need a quiet lunch spot with some space to have a meeting come in around lunch time have some good food and drinks and I bet your business feels more like hanging out with friends and family than it does talking business! No mater who you are or what you like this is a great place to get together with your friends.

The bartenders have never heard of basic cocktails.
