If this review was based just on the sushi. it would get 5 stars for the angel hair and godzilla rolls.I always go back because of this... BUT, if this review was solely based on service they would get a 0! The service is absolute garbage! If you want some water, you may be get some by "Hey girl, want some water." The waitresses are very rude. They pushed a few of the people that were in the group while pouring water, they can say sorry! We were a group of 14 and so the gratuity was included so we went to the manager to take the $55 tip off because she definitely didnt deserve that much. They said that we should have said something in the beginning, how are we supposed to know that their waitresses are that rude. I hate giving my money away to rude people! They really should get better staff, and this place would be 5 stars! Also, they rush you out. People go out to eat to enjoy their time while eating and talking, you cant do that here! They will literally ask you to leave once you finish eating. They close at 9:30 and a 9:00, the waitresses put their coats on and kept walking past the table trying to hint us to leave. They also stopped refilling our drinks. They will tell you to leave on their clock, not their customers. I also went once during the day and the restaurant was empty, but yet they still told us to go up to the bar if we wanted to stay there to talk and we werent even there for an hour and a half! I hope they read this and can change the way they treat their customers.

I am a “Sushi- Connoisseur” who appreciates and values service and quality tasting food. Big-Tuna does not Value their customers and they have a very limited Sushi menu. More American than Japanese. They have a single dimensional focus to only concern themselves with their needs instead of yours. They Rush You --- I want to enjoy my meal --- we arrived 45 minutes before closing --- and were the only customers in the restaurant and they could have informed us they close their kitchen as 8:30 – instead they were rude when serving the food, demanded if we wanted more sushi we needed to tell them our needs without giving us a chance to even taste the food – took away my unfinished bottle of SAKE without my consent and then brought it back to the table, they demanded we pay our bill in the middle of our meal because they were shutting down their registers – When we talked attempted to talk to the Manager “Roy” he said this is how they service they customers and to his this is acceptable service --- Roy is useless and rude – the other staff members crowd your table with their unwanted hands grabbing your food without asking if you are finished. The arrogance of Roy the manager to tell us he this is the way he treated customer --- Roy I wish you well – yet I will invest my time and money in a Quality sushi restaurant that serves the customer and serves fresher and more generous cuts of fish. BIG-TUNA --- BAD CHOICE --- DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME or you MONEY.

Seriously overpriced! Food quality was mediocre to down right unedible. Examples: Beef Teriyaki $18.95- beef was tough and cold. The kids Teryaki beef was $11.95 without rice! $1.00 extra for rice. Seriously?!! Overpriced! Other dishes we ordered were Chicken fried rice, super oily; Pad Thai Chicken was so vinegar-y and sour we were sure it was rotten! We sent it back and ordered the Fire Roll. As described on the menu, "Tempura jalapeño stuffed with spicy tuna, avocado and cream cheese, topped with filet mignon seared to perfection with a flaming table side presentation". Ours wasnt flaming and again it was cold. They %$&% served us an accidental order!!!!!!!!! My husband and I had eaten here for lunch once and thought everything was fine, especially the sushi so excitedly, we bring the kids in for dinner. We spent $100 with no cocktails. I recommend that you NEVER eat dinner here! Take your chances at lunchtime because perhaps when they arent busy they have more time to do it right. We however will NOT be going back and I will tell my friends about this aweful experience! This was at the ALGONQUIN location.

Soo I dont even know how to start describing this place!! Hands down this is the BEST place in my area. Ive never had their actual meals, but my god their sushi is to die for. I can honestly say since 2012 has started, I have no idea how many times my sister and I have gone there. I recommend for EVERYONE to taste their spicy crab, shrimp tempura, and spicy salmon rolls. Theyre amazing. If you go after four pm, they give complementary edamame which is sooo good. As for the all you can eat sushi for lunch, Ive tried it and I would never do it again. I would do the 3 rolls for $10.99 instead. The all you can eat is just terrible. As for the decor, its very beautiful from the inside. The outside of the place makes you think the inside wouldnt be that great, but actually its beautiful on the inside. I recommend this place for everyone. All in all, this place is the absolute best. I crave it every weekend. I think me and my sister are addicted.

This was my second time visiting this store. The first time was fantastic. Food was wonderful, but what really made it unique and memorable was the presentation. The 3 of us all ordered a sushi platter, and each plate was a work of art. All looked different, one an island, another a boat, with ice and clam shells being used as decoration. This past time the sushi was good. However gone was the artistic flair. We each got a platter again, with 10 pieces of chefs choice, and instead of a nice collection, it was 2 each of 5 standard pieces. Disappointing considering the cost of the platters, and my previous experience.

I was hesitant, like another person on here, to try Big Tuna because the outside decor looks kind of tacky. Well, dont be like me and judge a book by its cover (or in this case a restaurant by its storefront). When you go into the restaurant you will notice a beautifully decorated atmosphere. The sweet potato rolls were so delicious that I have to go back and get them again tonight. I really hope this business succeeds and I recommend it for a nice date spot or just a place to go out with your family and friends.

I had driven past this place for almost a year before deciding to give it a try as something about sushi from a strip mall didn’t seem quite right. Well I finally gave it a try and am glad that I did because their sushi is amazing! My wife and I have been back several times since and have had a great experience every time. Their sushi menu is not quite as extensive as other places that I have been but what they do have is delicious. The chefs special and sweetheart rolls are our favorites.

I loved going here! The all you can eat sushi special is what you would not expect for a price of $20! You get professionally made sushi and rolls for just that price! I would highly suggest going here if you are looking for a place to have excellent sushi for a good price! This is my number one place to go to for sushi in orland. The ingredients are always fresh and I love eating fresh octopus, squid, and white tuna for my sushi!
