I thought the pizza was great! I avoid the typical super cheesy, greasy pizza with canned mushrooms and other processed foods like they are poison. That is what some people like - but not I... The crust is thin and grilled on the fixins side prior to being flipped and cooked with the fixins. They will sell the pizza by the slice. I chose a slice which had fresh artichoke, roasted garlic, and a few other things with just the right amount of cheese and sauce for flavor. Ive had authentic thin crust pizza in Sicily. Pepis pizza in New Haven and a few others are the only purveyors of pizza that come close to what I had and grew to love in Sicily. The crust is often slightly and lightly blackened - this is how its done especially brick oven style. The atmosphere was unique as the name Bohemian Pizza suggests. The inside has a couple of fireplaces that were lit - perfect for a cool, damp spring day. The ceiling has 2 old wooden canoes suspended and upside down. The walls are covered with covers from old records. Some of the seats had cow black and white patterned coverings. There is a see through fish tank that is part of a wall that separates the bar from the dining area. As another reviewer mentioned, it is dimly lit. I liked that. The mens bathroom was clean. There was a pool table outside which is used in the warm months and temporary walls are built out of cord wood to make a room. The wood is then burned during the cold months in the fireplaces inside. The roof frame over the pool table has a tarp that covers the table - but not today. The staff obviously have fun joking loudly back and forth with each other and they are not afraid of offending guests that are perhaps a bit to sensitive to boisterous behavior. I even got in on the action. Interesting and eclectic atmosphere includes a bathtub on the roof and a sculpted woman in front. I found this place while waiting for a formal lunch engagement up the road from Litchfield Inn using my new favorite phone, the Moto Droid using the near-me-now feature of Google search in conjuction with GPS.

I find it almost impossible to believe that Ive yet to review this establishment. Literally have eaten here at least 50 times. I might be losing my touch! Anyway, we actually started going here years ago when they were running a commercial on the local channel. They all looked like a bunch of hipster guys and gals and seemed like they were actually enjoying what they did. I dont know anyone that works there personally, but there seems to be a real "family" atmosphere both among patrons and staff. Its cozy, homey, and super unique both atmosphere and menu-wise. First off, atmosphere. Honestly, youll never walk into another place like this...its literally one of a kind. The decorum is almost over-the-top kitschy, but in an intentional and totally awesome way. Maybe its just my personality, but it appeals to me and draws me in constantly. If youre lucky enough to be seated next to the fireplace on a cold winter night, you will be forever changed, spiritually. The other draw here is the food. The pizza is just ridiculously unique and deliciously, its also one of a kind in my opinion. Weve had just about every specialty pie on the menu and have never been disappointed. And you will never have a better burger at a pizza joint than you will have at Bohemian...its almost, sexual, but in a digestive way. Sandwiches, apps, salads, they have it all and its all good people. Cant say enough and I really shouldnt need to, if youre not sold by now, youre probably a terrible person that dislikes kittens. Too all of that, add an extensive selection of beers and fancy drinks, a throwback Ms. Pac Man game and awesome old album covers plastered to the wall, and you have what we call a slam dunk. Youre welcome America.

Took forever to server to come to our table but once she did, she was gracious and the rest of the meal was prompt. The decor is unique and great in its own crazy way - there was a pack of Uno cards on our table and the three of us lingered long over an unending game. We only had one slice of pizza so I cant fairly judge that but what we had was a 6 out of 10. Mac & Cheese - excellent. Crab cake - great value for the money. Bruschetta - wrong bread entirely, decent topping. Salads - generous. Overall good value - not the first place Id choose but a fun/funky alternative.

Stopped by for a few slices. The portabella+garlic+sausage was pretty amazing (thats not a specialty pizza but just happened to be made in the kitchen). Id go back for more of that. The recommended "Islanders" was interesting but theres too much BBQ sauce that overwhelmed everything in my opinion. Cant blame them for trying. The place is unique and has a pleasant casual vibe with friendly staff. Will be going back for more flavor experiments.

if anyone doesnt like Bohemian, you dont know what good pizza tastes like. Its by far the best pizza around! They may over do it on the roasted garlic but who doesnt like garlic. Thin crust pizza i would say is in the same league as pepes or sallys in new haven and better than then new Sell-Out Pepes at Mohegan Sun. The service isnt bad... but try ordering a pizza at pepes with out calling atleast an hour in advance.

Great. Great pizza. Im not sure if the wait staff is embracing the bohemian vibe or if the restaurant attractions the bohemian lifestyle. But you have got to try this place. Bring friends and try the pulled pork nachos. Its the best way to be in the know at Bohemian Pizza.

Friendly service in a really cool spot to StumbleUpon. The menu offered a lot more than what I dug into. Pizza was crispy thin and I like that style. I can guarantee there are some really noteworthy specials you should check it out - the mushroom pizza especially looks good

Love this pizza. This pizza has a distinctive taste that is sort of indescribable. I have been here 4 times and I enjoyed every pizza I have eaten here. One of my favorites in Connecticut. The crust is crunchy and crispy but not too hard. The meat lover pizza is very good!

Pizza is delicious. Toppings are fresh, thin pizza, large slices. We have eaten there several times. Service is pretty lousy though. Weve had several inattentive and disinterested waitresses. Much better to get takeout than to eat there if you can avoid it.

This style of pizza is Bohemians own design. Bubba works hard to make every pie perfectly unique. Take it from a New Yorker, this place is great. The decor is definitely Bohemian as the name suggests. Try the fried string beans. Better than TGIF.

Ate there a couple years ago and two of us got sick. Figured I would give them another shot... Yea no... Service was sub par and the pizza was about as good as dominos. Save your money or go up the street theres better places.

Its a dive bar/restaurant but holy cow their pizza is good. Get the Nodines bacon/sausage toppings and you wont be disappointed. Green peppers were still firm on the pizza and not mush, I like my vegetables like that.
