This place has over and over given me only worst experiences all through my repeated try outs of this place... The ambience is quite shabby to begin with... Cleanliness is not among their forte I guess... Through my three different visits of this place, it has always had a really awful fish stinch that kills your appetite the moment you step in through those doors... Even though there are tables available and the place being not so crowded we had to wait for almost 10 minutes too get a table... Once we had the table we place our order and wait for the order to come, which honestly quite wait in itself... We had empty glasses on the table but no water, it seems you have to specifically ask for that also... Few interesting things happened over the course of the next few minutes... First off we got our entrées before our appetizers even though the entire order was placed together... One of orders was forgotten completely... When we asked for what happened to the soup we had ordered, instead of getting the order out as soon as possible, the waiter started to argue that we hadnt placed the order for the same... The only reason I am giving it two stars as the dish that I had ordered, Aloo Paratha, and a few other dishes that we had got were actually pretty good... I wouldnt say the same for everything that we had ordered but yeah... Given the fact that I liked the food the ambience and the treatment makes me never to suggest this place to anyone else and also never ever to go here again...

One of the worst places in Sunnyvale. DO NOT GO HERE. Ive been here once previously and hated the food and management and thought that it might have been a one time bad experience but I decided to give them another chance and go again a couple of days back. There is so much confusion at the restaurant, it looks like they would be happier if you hadnt decided to eat at their place. We ordered and didnt even get what we ordered. We had to keep calling the waiter to our table so that we could order again. Its just the utter confusion and disgustingly poor service really shut me off. I dont usually write reviews but I had to write this one off. It would be fun to recommend this place to someone you hate, just out of spite. Haha.

Had been to this place for the first time today after listening to their extensive radio ads. Did a take-out of chicken fried rice. It was extremly salty due to excessive soy-sauce and couldnt finish it between the two of us. Not tasty either. The tables were clean, but could smell something stinky near the kitchen door (closer to the counter). Poor customer service. The first lady at the counter is clueless about the food being served. Asked her if the tamarind rice is spicy and she said "she doesnt know". To be fair, the second lady was better. Though a 3 minute drive from my home, cant muster enough courage to try out again.

My review is based on the buffet, keep in mind that the regular dinner service may have a different rating. This is probably one of the best Indian buffets in the area. And I am not just saying that because the buffet even includes all the mango lassi that you can drink. What makes this place really great is that they have a large selection of items including biryani, chicken tandoori, goat curry, a good mix of vegetarian dishes and meat dishes. Some of the items are a little spicy as expected by the name , but that is good for making this place a little more authentic. Yet to try their Thursday Dinner Buffet .

If only I could give 0 stars. A friend of mine called them to see if they would take a dine-in or to go order at around 10.10pm (the place closes at 10.30). The guy who picked up said it was ok to come in at that time. We reached at 10.15 and they said they were closed. I mean how hard was it to say that over the phone in the first place!!!!! Plus, the guy who claims hes the only one who answers the phone said that he never Received any call. Probably showing some remorse rather than arrogance and lying straight to the face would be the nice thing to do. Would never ever recommend this place to anyone!

I ordered boneless chicken briyani... they gave me chicken chowmein. The waiter there doesnot listen to customer. I asked himvits not my order and he didnot listened to me. He just said its for the table no 7 its urs. Then we forcefully started eating chowmein and that guy came back and took the same chowmein ( which we already started eating ) to the next customer. After all he brought briyani but he didnot apologize. People must listen to customer choice. I waas about to sue him for forcefully giving chowmein but he was also Desi so I leaved him. Hehehe bewakufff kahiko.

I had lunch here yesterday with a bunch of coworkers. We ate at the buffet but also wanted to try some things from the menu. The lamb chops (menu item) were seasoned well and were very tasty. The Chicken 65 was also very good. I really enjoyed the garlic naan very much which i dipped with the Butter Chicken from the buffet. Im definitely going to try other things from the menu when I return. As for the buffet, the Chicken Biryani was really good. I dont remember the names of the other dishes as I pretty much got full on the items that Ive listed.

It is AMAZING. You cant get closer to authentic actual Indian food. PLS if u r America without any Indian background, do yourself a favor and dont go to those stereotypical Natraj Tandoori or cuisine of Indias places, coz their indian food is very white-washed. It would be like saying panda express is A good representation of Chinese food. This restaurant however is fantastic. This is the kind of food you would get in India. Trust me, coming from a Maharashtran, I am saying that the 3.4 rating for this restaurant is an understatement.

There should be a way to give negative ratings. Honestly worst food I have ever tasted. Cold soups, charcoal black burnt sizzlers, absolutely tasteless everything else. When you tell them that sizzlers are burnt, manager will give you look as if u have done any crime. He will then ask u if u want to change, and aloha he brings back same plate. Service is exceptional bad. Its waste of money. Honestly I will never go there again and wont even recomend it to anyone.

I was driving with a close friend and was startled by its quaint appearance and decided to take a U and give it a try. Boy, werent we glad we did. Thalis are very reasonably priced and a great choice of small dishes makes it for a hearty meal. Staff was very attentive to our needs and responded back with the food or to any requests in a reasonable manner. I highly recommend to anyone who likes to try some regional varieties which are hard to pull off in our own kitchen.

Very low quality food. Prawn curry with raw mango sounds tasty, right? Well, not made at Bombay to Goa, it had small fish bones(!!) just floating in runny and flavorless liquid alongside 3 shrimps. Vegetable biriany was just rice with added chunks of half-cooked potatoes, no spices at all... Tandoori chicken was bland, nothing special. Did you guys run out of salt and spices? Rotti was like a dry piece of paper, how can you spoil rotti...
