My girlfriend and I went to one of our favorite restaurants this past Sunday but we were really disappointed with the service we were provided. It was slow so we thought even better. We walked in and sat ourselves like always but this time instead of a waitress coming over to hand us our menus we just received unwelcoming stares it was disappointing. After waiting for about 30 minutes for a menu I decided to grab a menu off of the vacant table next to us. Finally after about another 20 minutes of waiting a waitress came over and gave us a glass of water. She asked if we needed anything to drink we told her our beverages. She came back with them roughly 5 to 10 minutes after with our drinks and to take our order. My girlfriend ordered the clam chowder bowl in sourdough bread and I ordered their famous fish and chips. After waiting for about another 20 minutes the waitress brought out a clam chowder in a regular bowl we informed her of the mistake and waited another 10 minutes thinking a fresh bowl was being made but we were wrong. The clam chowder bowl was barely warm and the waitress didnt bring out napkins or any other utensils besides two spoons. We thought she was having a bad day but a family came in and she attended to them quick. After informing her of our needs she didnt come after 5 minutes she didnt apologize and after I said thank you she just walked away and I still hadnt received my fish and chips. It was very disrespectful. It seemed like she didnt want to serve us and it was just awful service on the waitress behave. It made me feel super discriminated which was awful. No one should ever feel like that. For that we shall never step foot in there again.

Stopped in a for a few drinks late one Sunday evening since we were staying just down the street at the Hotel 1110 (10 minute walk). The place was pretty empty around 10pm so we had the patio mostly to ourselves. We were able to sit at one of the large round tables with a gas fire pit/top in the middle which was pretty nice on a cool evening. Service was really good (not many patrons so that helped), they have a decent selection of local beers (English style ales from a local brewery) and the food was decent. Most of us had pasties, and the sweet-potato fries were really good. Overall, a really good place to hang out and have a beer with friends....no loud music so you can talk and enjoy the evening. Positives: Nice outdoor patio with a view of the marina/boats and some tables with built-in fire-tops, good service, interesting layout with separate lounging areas and rooms inside. Negatives: The inside smells like a dank/dirty bar, food was average.

Wasnt what we were looking for but turned out pretty nice. We already paid for parking but couldnt get into the place we came for. The front was crowded and noisy but the hostess directed us to the back which was quiet and secluded. Nice view of the pier and shaded from the afternoon sun. There was even couches if we wanted! Sirius XM was playing Classic Vinyl which played music from British bands every other song and added to the ambiance. Not being an expert on English food, I cannot say how authentic it was but we enjoyed the fish & chips we had. Because of being in the back, it took a while for our waitress to get to us for which she was apologetic and more than made up for it with superior service. We were served in a flash which even surprised her. For what we figured would be a tourist trap kind of place we were very pleasantly surprised. Plus we didnt waste our parking fee. WARNING: The city of Monterey is very greedy that way.

Fish had great light English beer batter, yet lacked seasoning. Coleslaw wax great. Steak potatoes were bland and boring. Only one Vegetarian dishes other than salads. Limited to two indoor dining tables inside with ocean harbor view (and were taken) therefore braved cold patio for view. Because after all thats why you go to Fisherman wharf restaurants. Yet gas lit open flame was only heat on colder Spring nite. Patio warmers if theyd had them would have kept heat on patio & dinner would have been more enjoyable. We were cold, ate fast, drank hot tea (No available Earl Gray at a British Pub?). Great service despite all of this.

Came here for Trivia Night with some coworkers and had a good time. Trivia starts at 8 but you should get there early to find a table; it gets pretty busy. I didnt get any food but other people in our party got a burger and the clam chowder breadbowl. They both looked good and I didnt hear any complaints. No specialty cocktails which was kind of a bummer but they have a full bar so you can stick with what you know. Beer selection was decent.

London Bridge is a nice local establishment. They have a great selection of beers (bottled and on-tap). The pub food (which the majority is) is tasty and soulful. They are conveniently located next to the Wharf Marketplace as well. And, if youre feeling froggy, you can take a walk over to the other side of the wharf where all the "touristy" places are. London Bridge Pub is a great place to eat if you want a little heavier meal.

My favorite place to go. When I want to go out, and Im a Monterey local, I like to go to the pier, look out at the boats, be with my dog, enjoy being outside yet still be warm and have some coziness. This is the place. The food is excellent. I hear the drinks are amazing. My friends like them. They bring my pooch a bowl of fresh water (with ice, if needed)! Theres a fire pit. Waiters go the extra mile and its very pleasant.

our waitress was so slow not kind and took forever to bring our food and drinks, once we had our food on the take the order was not correct but we did not complain due to the amount of time that took them prepared our food and she never came once to ask if you need it anything else of even to ask if we need more water!!!! absolutely 100% bad services over all

A great pub! I emailed in the morning to find out if this pub would be showing the Arsenal game, I instantly got a reply to say that they where. The family and I turned up for kick off and had a great time, apart from the final score :-(. The service was great and so was the food. The staff are really friendly as well. Totally recommend

Horrible experience. Came in and sat, yes the waitress came and took our order got our drinks and 10 min later our appetizers.... but my husband and I sat there for 40 min on food that never came. 3 families that came and sat after us 10-20 min later, got their food right away. Needless to say... we will never go again.

The best New England clam chowder i have had on the west coast from San Diego to Seattle. Things that elevate them above most is perfectly cooked clams and oyster crackers. Only place to improve is just a bit more black pepper. There tater sauce, fish and chips is also excellent. Burger is also better than most.
