Good place love there food expressly hunnan beef and mugu guy pan and chicken chow main shrimp chow main good food at low prices only one time got uncooked rice ones in lot years everyone makes mistakes they have a drive through window and dinning room to be careful coming out drive through on to road next to it people drive crazy some drunk drugys if drink stay at home your family wont you alive and all in channelview Texas dont want to be your heartless victims we dont want to dye be responsible dont drink and drive please ps they give you large portions lots food Ive gotten box so full almost wouldnt close for little money thow they have wint up on food family hunnan beef meal was$599 with tax now over$699-$999

You gotta get past the look of the place such as graffitti on building and overall dumpy look to find the hidden gem,the food. First time for me and the general tso chicken is not only scruptious but its mostly chicken and not breading also the lomein seemed to come straight out of the wok with the feeling that some chinese love went into the preperation. For under ten bucks i got stuffed and im a fat guy.and last the hot young cashier at the window may be spanish and not chinese but a pleasure to look at. Go there before they put money into the looks of the place and food prices will go up im sure.

Portions are big sadly because you dont want to finish it. Rice is chewy, chicken has a lot of cartilage. We found tiny fish spine in our shrimp fried rice and a lot of the shrimp still had the shell on them. Meal was horrible. Prices are good. I guess you get what you pay for. Will not be going back. Also they only except cash it was such an inconvenience had to leave and go to atm. Just a sad place. Please save yourself our experience and go somewhere else where you are going to enjoy your meal.

i loved this place till today...i seen the men that cooked the food back there DONT wear any protective gloves and didnt look clean at all, plus one man didnt wash his hands after using the bathroom, which made me wonder. and when i got home i found a small hair in my general chicken..just made me want to puke...of all the years i loved this place, and i never had any problems with this place before. feeling so disappointed!!!

I have been going to this place for years I now have a few businesses that my boss has allowed me to take control in certain ways we use them once a week to feed our customers at our Bingo Hall off of 883 Federal Road guaranteed hey out $5,000 daily Their food is amazing and it is always a reasonable price they take care of you there was no other Chinese restaurant I would recommend

No disrespect to the other Chinese fast/food restaurants such as China Ko, but personally General Wok is my all time favorite. I used to go there all the time after school. Order the "House Lo-mien", you WILL NOT regret it. Pros: Great food, Fairly cheap, Walking distance from most places in Channelview, convenience. Cons: Only accepts cash....

BEST CHINESE FOOD IN HOUSTON especially on a budget - they fill you up with more than enough food every time - without emptying your wallet. Always friendly staff - not to mention the fact that the food is SOOOO good - makes other chinese places around here pale in comparrison - our favorite place by far

Cash only and no menu online (I posted pictures of it). Definitely a step above your typical fast food Chinese place. Using Panda Express as a baseline, the portions are large and quality is decent. Egg drop soup is particularly good. Three stars because this aint real Chinese food.

One of the best places I eat Chinese food at scents coming to Tx and the only place I will eat Chinese food at 99.9% of the time... Really good prices and more then a you need were to people could share off one palate... Its a must try if you have not... One of the best in Houston.

This is a great Chinese dinner! I want to say that this place has the best Low Mein EVER! cheap prices for big plates! careful when ordering because the plates are gigantic. Average good full meal will be about 10 bucks, but refills on drinks are 50 cents.
