We had planned to get sandwiches from Russos, but they were closed for the week. So we looked around and choose A & LP. It must have been providence, and we have a new sandwich shop at the shore. We ordered a cheesesteak, pizza steak, a pork rabe and a grilled chicken. Each sandwich was HUGE, fresh and packed with filling. The fries were huge orders. Three order was plenty for the four of us to share with leftovers. They were wonderfully crisp outside and pillowy and perfectly seasoned on the inside. The service was friendly, professional and excellent, and the prices were VERY reasonable, a great value for money! Ive seen some of the reviews saying there was no meat, and I wonder where they got sandwiches because ours were two to three inches thick with meat and we all had trouble finishing, but they were so delicious we pushed through. I grew up in Philly, and these were among the best I have ever eaten. Visit A & LP, you wont be sorry!

Ordered a sandwich that had to be boiled then cooked to be made properly considering its pork.. i asked for it well done it came out red inside and undercooked inside. I was asked to choose another sandwich instead i was wanting the one i ordered not a replacement nothing was offered because of the problem like a lower price. Or free fries for the wait..i was told Thats the way the sandwich is made..Thats a poor excuse..They have good food but shouldnt sell what they cant make right. For that i will choose another place..Not to complain about service but pay attention to your customers poor service can kill your business..

I had cravings for cheesesteak and found this place while driving around North Wildwood. It was good but the other foods that we ordered was awful! The ceasars salad was overpriced and it wasnt even good! For an exrtra $3.00 they will add a piece of not so good grilled tasteless small piece of chicken!!!! The fries and chicken tenders were tasteless and overcooked. And the burger? Oh God!! It was so bad my kids wont even eat it!!!! It was all in all a terrible dinner experience!

Food was good but I had go to counter to order when I was eating there pay for drinks and food separately who does that? Then my food came out wrapped in paper does this place not have plates? A pizza shop that doesnt serve pizza till 4pm? Come on! No ketchup or napkins on the tables - really? People were more interested in talking then service. For business of 60 yrs it seemed like their first day.

I live here in Wildwood Crest. I always seem to go back to this place for cheesesteaks. My order this time was a cheesesteak, extra pickles and salt and pepper. It has been hit and miss at times, but most of the time its very good. My cheesesteak didnt have extra pickles, there was only a few, and no salt and pepper..but the steak was packed and it was very good. Delivery was less than a half hour.

I live close to A&LP but couldnt remember why I didnt go there so I decided to get a cheesesteak. Beside the cost of $8.25, it didnt have a lot of meat and what little there was, wasnt good. There was a lot of gristle in the meat. Very disgusting, Ill never go back.

I have been going to A & LP since I was in grade school. Simply amazing. To this day nothing beats a cold chocolate milk and their awesome cheese fries. I should mention the cheesesteaks are enormous as well as delicious.

Long wait began getting upset.. then I took a bite into my cheesesteak and my worries dissappeared. It was heaven. Im a philly guy and it was comparable to the city.. amazing. Pizza pretty good too
