I cherish the day I discovered Mugs on Milton in 2013. Im not into mainstream coffee roasters, I thoroughly love the charm that comes from an independent coffee house, especially one that has excellent craft coffee brewed daily. The owner is also a baker and she creates the finest bits to bite and nibble on during your morning commute to work. I typically reach for a breakfast cookie when I know my cappuccino needs a companion on my ride into the city. When I worked in Alpharetta, my lunch time escape typically revolved around a boxed lunch with one of their sandwiches made on house made bread enjoying it alongside a cold iced coffee and a good book on their patio. Im definitely not one who would ever claim to be a vegetarian, but the roasted veggie and goat cheese sandwich I had years ago here still resonates happily on my taste buds. If there is one this to try here it is the chocolate chip cookie. It. Melts. In. Your. Mouth. and then you wolf it down and sit there empty handed in a chocolate chip cookie daze wondering where the last 20 euphoric seconds of your life went. Amazing cookies. Amazing lunches. Excellent iced teas. I still make an effort to pop in at least once a week even though my life has taken me to Midtown. Nothing beats Mugs in my opinion.

I love the feel and the food. Coffee is NOT good. The espresso is watery and burnt. I really was excited for mugs to open in milton, but was extremely disappointed in the quality of the coffee beans. They definitely should change that. Also the french press is way overpriced and they do not give you the whole french press to pour as you please. I will be going to Land of a Thousand Hills or Wilbur & Rudys over this place just for the quality of the coffee. Look up Crema in Nashville and see the difference in overall quality.

Could use a little work on the decor feels a little like a back in the day elementary school. Needs rugs to soften noise and the stark white walls are cold and univiting. Some scented candles would be a good idea because the back seating areas have a stench. The latte I got with chocolate wasnt great and tasted a little bunrt. I normally dont mind the price of a good latte but this one left something to be desired. Potential for sure just falling short on the details that could make it great.

This place is adorable and I would definitely go back. The staff we interacted with were beyond friendly. It isnt overpriced compared to other things around it. I just got an iced coffee, but it was delicious. They also carry almond milk! They have a few baked goods for sale, which I believe are made that morning. My friend got a gluten free m & m cookie and wanted to get another, but had to restrain herself. I would highly recommend this place.

I love everything about Mugs! The coffee selection is great, and the bread that they use to make their sandwiches with is second to none. The wide variety of cookies, cake, etc... which are baked fresh daily are delicious. Its a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea along with a sandwich or cookie to study, read, or catch up on email using the free wifi. The staff is wonderful and welcoming!!

Pretty good coffee shop. Much better than a Starbucks but the staff was a bit immature and didnt know a lot about coffee. And the place was filled with moms. Nothing wrong with moms (I have one and shes great) but the vibe was, you know, a little off. I will say this, the location is good and the shop itself has plenty of good seating and places to do some work or hang out.

Really quaint, cozy place with friendly staff and good coffee and pastries. They also have board games to play and a few books to read! I never knew this type of place could exist in Alpharetta, home or the strip mall and franchise store, so finding this place was a pleasant surprise. I only wish they were open later!

Absolutely love Mugs. They hands down have got the best coffee in town. Theyre bakery treats are hard to beat as well! I literally come here every Saturday morning and look forward to all week long. Love the people and the atmosphere here. Very sweet and cozy!

I hate its so far from Brookhaven, but I think I have a new favorite place for discipleship meetings. I especially enjoyed talking over the bible with a cup of "El Diablo" because irony is just plain fun. Great service and cool atmosphere!

Atmosphere is great. Nice quiet place to work. The coffee is better than Starbucks, but not craft coffee. Use Intelligentsia beans, but only have medium and dark roast (usually).

Mugs is a very nice small town coffee shop in downtown Alpharetta. Best time to visit in Saturday morning in the summer when they have the farmers market going on right next door!

Nice little place. Coffee made by folks who aim to please, not the best coffee ever yet they try. Cozy and they got baked goods and snacks. Go, chill, be happy.

I would not recommend going here, the other mugs in crab apple is much better. I have had a few bad experiences at this one. The staff is great through.

Good place to hang out and have a great cup of coffee; but its not cheap for an Ice Coffee... they either need to lower the price or use a bigger cup
