The wife and I were in Daytona passing through when we had some car trouble so we ended up saying there a few days. At the time money was a little tight and with the mounting car repair my wife the constant bargain hunter found a coupon in one of those flyer type publications. (Buy 1 burger and a drink get a 2nd of = or lesser value free) So we go into the place, and it is a bit dirty, the wait staff look like they had a million better places to be but we are starving and decide to order. She shows the waitress our coupon I got a meal so we could split some fries and she just got her free burger. My burger was way over cooked, hers was way under but when you pay people $5 an hour to cook food that is what is to be expected I suppose. The waitress brought us our bill and when I opened it, the price was about double what it should have been, so I took a look at it and we got charged for both burgers. We asked the server about it and presented the coupon again and she apologized took the bill, and the coupon and returned a couple minutes later. She returned with the bill unchanged, and a form that we were to fill out (along with a survey) and they would send us a voucher for a free hamburger. Keep in mind the coupon said nothing about that. Needless to say my wife was upset, as she did not even really want a burger but was excited to help us save some money when times were tight. We have yet to go to another Johnny Rockets, I even wrote a letter to the company explaining the situation and our displeasure (because I like the place and would like to go back) but never heard back. So yea this particular branch is a bit dirty, the food quality is alright, and yea the corporate advertising plan turned a 4-5 time a year customer into a family that will not be back.

Literally the worst food service experience Ive ever had. I am a vegan and this place was one of the few that had a vegan option. The server was nice but really chatty and more interested in stories of where he was from than our order. I actually had a short conversation with him about how i was vegan when he got our order. Our food came out and i immediately thought my burger tasted weird. Me and my friend (not vegan) both looked at the burger and she said it definitely did not look like a real burger and he got the rest of my order correct so she said it was probably just the brand or seasoning that i didnt like. I hadnt eaten in like 7 hrs so i was pretty hungry and just trusted the server got my order right. My stomach started hurting really bad so we got our checks and come to find out the server gave me a turkey burger. I havent eaten meat in 9 yrs! I immediately ran to the bathroom and started throwing up. My friends talked to the server and told him what he did. He went over to the manager (im assuming) and explained to her what happened. All she said was that there was nothing they could do. I came out of the bathroom feeling very sick and the manager did not come over to check on me or apologize. The server just came over and asked if there was anything he could do but did but apologize either. Being vegan is very serious to me and i was very irritated that they treated it like it was not a big deal. I will never go to a johnny rockets again and i would not recommend this one to anyone.

My husband and I were visiting over the holidays and were staying in the hotel next door. We didnt want to go too far for food so we checked out the shopping center next door. He liked burgers and fries so we stoped in. The place was clean and the bathrooms were kept up. i ordered a chicken salad, which was quite good and the chicken was cooked quite juicy. Hubby ordered the double, cheese fries, and a chocolate shake. The shake was sooo good I think I ended up drinking half of it! He ate everything and was very happy and stuffed. The service was decent, not five star dining, but what do are you expecting. Having worked as a server myself in the past I understand that when its a bit slow people seemed bored so I wasnt upset. She was sweet and polite and took care of us. The drinks and food all showed up on time and she helped us get in and out quickly. All in all a great place to eat if your looking for a good quick meal

We went there right when they opened wasnt busy at all was seated right away. Took the waitress forever to get our drink order only she probably said three words to us the whole time we was there. Brought our drinks then took another 20 min to come back and take our food order the food was good and it didnt take it long to get to us brought to us by a cook not our waitress she never came back to check if our order was right or to refill our drinks has she was walking by she drops off our check then took us 30 min to get her to pick it up she did so with not one word as she is walking by to give someone who had just walked in and asked for a drink she filled a to go cup and gave it to the man all while carrying around our debit card finally she ran our card and we left. I have been to many Johnny rockets before and they are always very friendly this one is just bad and to top it off our waitress was the manager.

The most shocking and horrifying place I have ever been Dirty,BUG INFESTED, we did not eat there so i can not comment on the food at this one. got sick when the waitress squished a cockroach over the drink mixer when she was making our shakes(we left at that point) the service staff was rude and dirty I have been to johnny rockets all over the country I have taken business associates,friends ,and family these places are usually clean,friendly,and a lot of fun not this one in daytona talked to the stores general manager who just simply patronized me.I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER JOHNNY ROCKETS EVER AGAIN THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS IT is a shame to see this happen at what should have been a great place.I just go to the Sloppy Joes Clean friendly great atmosphere

Waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged, then when asking to sit at a booth was told "that side of the restaurant has been closed" then told us to sit at a booth that had obviously been used and was sticky and not well maintained. Then the server "Heather" did not take any orders from us for 20 minutes, and when she finally came over she threw the napkins on the table and said "Dont waste your nickel the juke boxes dont work" (if she had said it with some respect or kindness I wouldnt have had an issue) The manager ended up taking over since it got a little busy, she was extreamly kind and had a great attitude, the food was good overall but the service from our origanol waitress lacked Seriously. We will return but will ask for a different waitress.
