outback steakhouse misleads/ rips customers off was in outback yesterday. order the full rack of baby back ribs. order comes it looks like a half of a rack. i look at one side and you can tell it was cut, whether before or after i dont know. i do know that it wasnt a full rack i say something to the server and she proceeds to tell me that outbacks full rack of ribs consists of 9-10 ribs....wtf. im telling you the ribs didnt even span the dinner plate, while when you get a full rack its usually served on a platter or is falling off the sides of a plate. they have some nerve calling this a full rack when it isnt. they also serve half rack and 1/3 rack. what does 1/3 portion consist of 2/3 ribs.....lol..or the cut remaining portion from the full rack. this is some scam they have running here........avoid this place below was taked from the rip off report as well my situation is not isolated Your not getting what you pay for when you order ribs at Outback. Go to any good BBQ place and order a 1/2 or full rack of ribs..and youll get them. This is not so at Outback Steakhouse Restaurants. I ordered a full rack of ribs for $16.95 and when they brought my order I had 7 ribs with the end of the rack cut off. I thought there was a mix up in the order so I asked the waitress to double check my order was for a full rack. The manager came out and told me that they cut the end of the ribs off (about 1/3) and what is left is considered a full rack. They said they base it on weight and a full rack is usually about 8 ribs for them. I brought to his attention the menu advertising only a full or half a rack. There is no indication of the order being based on weight. I also told him you cannot charge me for a "FULL" rack of ribs if you cut 1/3rd of the end of my rack off to offer it as 1/2 a rack to someone else. I can not believe they are getting away with this. When you order a full rack you should get at least 12-14 bones and half of a rack has about 6 bones in the order. This is a complete rip off. I do have to say in all honesty the manager gave me the rest of my rack at no "extra" charge but this should have been done without me having to bring to his attention that part of my order was missing. Outback is making a huge profit by misrepresenting thier ribs as full and half racks when they are really 1/3 and 2/3 racks. Just imagine they are getting an extra $12.95 order out of each order of ribs they sell, when they cut the ribs like this... Im not sure if other consumers have noticed or said anything, but thier menus are certainly misleading and you ARE NOT getting what you are paying for so BEWARE! Ive been going here for years and the service has completely gone down the drain. I would come here about once a week for my usual-chicken tender platter & double cheese fries with bacon. About a week ago, curbside forgot to give me my second order of cheese fries and bacon. By the time I realized, I was already home. I called and spoke to the manager and he made it seem like it was my fault because I placed my order online. He told me I did not order a second side of cheese fries so I pulled up my email with my order confirmation and it clearly stated I ordered two sides but I only recieved one. He told me he would mail me a coupon. Fast forward to today, I received the coupon and it was mediocre. It was for a "free appetizer with a meal purchase" mind you it is not considered free since I did not receive what I paid for last time. All that aside, I decided to give them another shot. Earlier today when I called to place my order with curbside takeaway, they rudely hung up on me before I even got a chance to order. So I called back and was on hold for FIFTEEN minutes. While on hold, I decided to use my boyfriends phone to call curbside and they picked up right away. I asked why he picked up this call right away when there was a another call on hold for fifteen minutes that was still waiting. He said they are busy. Busy enough to hang up on a costumer and then make them wait 15 minutes on hold. I told him I lost my appetite and did not want to eat there anymore. I will not be returning to this Outback again.

I went in there the other day and my steak was very dry, Additionally,I needed a refill and my server "Jen" was no where to be found, along with a bunch of servers walking around aimlessly. I was at this location a few weeks ago and I was not impressed, I do not why I decided to go back considering the service gets worse and worse every time I walk in. Also, the place is very filthy, and the ledges were very dusty, and there were multiple trays on stands filled with dirty dishes and used glasses. The manager "Cory" came over at the end of my meal and asked how everything was going and sounded very sarcastic and annoyed. At this point of my visit I did not even want to waste my breath explaining my disappointing experience I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I advise everyone to stay away from this outback location youre better off taking the extra drive to another one.

There was a time when I loved their food..steak cooked to perfection, salads fresh and crisp..etc... gave them an excellent review. We noticed that their quality of food was getting progressively worse. The last time we went it was a disaster...steak cooked well when ordered rare and very dry.. my wifes was the same..it looked like it was kept under a warmer for whatever reason... we could not eat it. Steak salad was very skimpy...lettuce wilted and steak overcooked.... overall 3 of the 4 dinners were horrible. We did bring it to the managers attention and they did credit some of our bill. But, thats not the point... I go to a restaurant to enjoy my meal and expect good food. Its sad that a restaurant can take such a bad turn... will not return again.

The older woman at the door is always very rude, tells you always that the wait is 20 minutes even if the place is empty. Sometimes she looks at the screen that shows a wait of 5 minutes, than tells you 15. Or, she sits you at the tables near the door or in the middle of the way, even if there are plenty of booths available. The service overall is very good and the food is great too. The manager is very polite and visits the tables every time and I would give this place 5 stars Only if they could move that rude person on a different position as she ruins my appetite every time i come here.

The service was good, but what really displeased me was the food. I ordered a steak cooked medium rare. I had a hard time cutting my steak, but I figured that was alright. When I took a bite, I could barely break it into two with my teeth. My steak was very tough and on top of that had an iota of flavor. My meal turned out to be unsatisfying and to this day I do not recommend outback steak to be your meal.
