This is my favorite pizza place. I love the food, the atmosphere, and the location. I now live in Texas, but am originally from Santa Clara, CA and grew up on this pizza. My grams lives just down the street so every summer I visit her & make sure to stop here for a bite. Now, Ive seen these reviews and think some folks just dont belong here. If you cant handle seeing an employee talk on his/her cell phone like anyone else, grow a pair or go eat little caesars or some crap. I also hope the interior never changes, its supposed to look old-school for a reason. Awsome place!

Cozy old school 70s vibe where everyone knows your name. Three generations family owned pizzeria, grandma, son, grandson. Thin but not too thin pizzas with generous amounts of toppings. Window in front of the building to see pizzas being made. Other popular items include their lasagne that rests overnight to enhance the flavors and a steal of a deal spaghetti and meatball plate with garlic bread for less than $4. Specials on draft beers during sporting events shown on multiple TVs. Nintendo Wii with Mario Kart for the kiddos and kiddos at heart.

Good Pizza. My family and I love Golden Mushroom. We love their Pizza. We have it delivered and we eat there occasionally. The delivery is always timely. The restaurant, to be very honest...is a dump, but it is absolutely loaded with local charm. I believe it is owned and operated by a family. They can be a little cranky sometimes, but who isnt. But its again all a part of the charm. They are great people in there. I love the bar. The regulars help themselves to beers. Its kinda like Cheers, with pizza.

I am writing this review because it seems to me that only people that are unhappy with their meals come on the web to whine and complain. People who love their pizza dont search on the web to find a place to give a review. I use to work at the nearby emergency room for a few years. About once a month we would call in an order for pizza at the Golden Mushroom. We all LOVED the pizza there and we never once got a bad one!! They make the kinda pizza that the Round Table use to make.

Been eating their pizza since I was a kid. When I moved I thought they had went out of business. Turned out they moved just a mile from where I moved to! Love their pizza!!! The combination is awesome and they dont skimp on the toppings. The place itself needs to be updated and the bathrooms are disgusting. But the pizza is great!

I like getting the Miners Special pizza. True, the interior resembles that of a cozy basement rec room, but that doesnt bother me in the slightest. Nice staff, cold beer, plenty of parking, and theres a big TV in the middle of it all that is great for catching a sporting event.

It has been a long time since I have eaten at The Golden Mushroom, but whenever I have pizza somewhere else I am reminded of what I am missing by not eating there. I try to stop bye whenever I am in town, but sadly it is only every couple of years. THIS IS PIZZA!!!

My favorite local pizza place. The veg pizza with lots of cheese and toppings :) The old couple who sometimes is at the counter is very engaging and love to talk about some game running on television.

Somebody told me to try it and I listened. Very dissatisfied. The workers were very rude and on their cell phones the whole time. I couldnt believe we saw crew members drinking on the job! Never again

This is hands-down the absolute BEST pizza I have ever eaten. I am only in Santa Clara for a few months, pizza at home will never taste as good. So glad I found this place.

I love the hole in the wall style vibe of this place. The pizza is super delicious too. You can also get a mean plate of spaghetti for super cheap.
