Bleh. Got 3 different with 3 different mix ins. 3 different results. Low-fat cheesecake with strawberries was the worst and came out in a rock solid chunk with little crumbly bits like Dipping Dots. Blueberry flavored custard with cheesecake bites and graham crackers came out ok except the graham crackers were pulverized to dust. The vanilla ice cream with cookie dough bites was the best and closest to normal. They need more consistency in there preparation. They also either need to use fresh berries that they add in as they make it or frozen berries that they add in after. Frozen berries that are then frozen again at mix in leads to eating rocks. May give it one more chance. Right now it is strictly a novelty item.

Only come here to bring yourself here for the first time or other people here for the first time. After that, the magic really fades quickly. The very first time you get your ice cream made its kind of awe-inspiring for a minute. The shift leader was very nice and took time to answer questions about the business and how the ice cream process operates. Youll be pleased to know the ice cream here claims to be at least 40% more creamy (mmmmmmmmmm) & more premier than all your other non nitrogen no cream having ice cream. Hail. Customer Service/Interaction ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleanliness ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smells ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food Taste ⭐⭐⭐ Presentation ⭐⭐⭐ Serving Size ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bring at least $/person: $6 Pet Friendly? No indication of pet friendliness.

They havent been open for a long time but theyre always busy. The wait isnt actually that bad. For getting customized ice cream, it was a decent wait. I timed it and waited under 3 minutes to get mine. You get to see everything made in front of you. Also, the price isnt terrible. I paid about $6 for the large, which comes with a waffle cone wafer. I got a lot of ice cream..like more than I would at those yogurt joints that price by weight. Definitely coming back! This place has combined two of my favorite things: science and ice cream!

Tried to call and order two pies for a work birthday party. No one returned my call. Went to the store on the day of the party to order two pies since no one returned my call. I felt sorry for the three teenagers who were there to deal with my situation. None of them had ever made a pie. I have teenage kids and felt the owner had left these kids out in the cold. No pun intended. Opening a new business is tough and requires many long hours until employees are trained well and experienced. Not sure I will go back.

Definitely a novelty. The ice cream creation process is very interesting, but the quality of the ice cream was disappointing. I would have given Sub Zero a 1 star, but the staff was friendly and the chemistry experiment ice cream was a spectacle. Crazy long wait for a subpar, overpriced dessert. Also, my daughter and I were nauseous after eating half of our ice cream. For $5.99 for a large cup, we could have had a pint of super premium ice cream like Ben & Jerrys or Haagen-Dazs.

Very slow process. Cool concept and fun to see them make it but not worth the wait. Price is very high for ice cream/ frozen yogurt. And at 55 cents per add on the price goes through the roof if you treat this as your average froyo place. The flavors were way to sweet for me. But that makes sense as all this is is frozen syrup. Kids will like it but grownups will probably want something a little healthy.

Interesting experience. Watching the freezing process was cool (pardon the pun). Ice Cream has a slightly different texture, thanks to the rapid cooling from the nitrogen. Hot fudge topping immediately froze, and created a shell over the ice cream instead of flowing down into the ice cream instead. Waffle cones were freshly made, so they were soft, and had a slight sweetness to them.

The service is fantastic! Employees are very good about answering questions and making sure everyone truly understands the flash freezing process. Some people complain about the prices, but they align with any other ice cream you are going to find in the area. Ice cream tastes great and there are so many different options to choose from. Everyone should come and try Sub Zero ice cream!

Customer service is awful. Management rudely shoved receipt in my face when I said I did not want a receipt and when I told them that they forgot my waffle cone that came with my order they replied youre fine. I used to go here every night and have spent a good amount of money at this establishment and Im sad to say I will not be returning.

Really smooth and chill vibes all around. They do have a giant tank, which is where they store the nitrogen, and it really adds to the place. The only problem I had was that the price seemed a little high for the amount of ice cream we got. Seems like Nitrogen aint cheap! Other than that, it was a great experience.

I would just like to commend the owner Shane Edwards for his hospitality over at sub zero in kingwood. He was so kind and even took a second to make sure me and my friends ice cream was great. And great it was. So creamy and the mix in combos they have on the menu are soooo good. 10/10 would recommend

Great place to bring the kids for ice cream and Science! My son just love watching them make his ice cream from scratch and loved all the smoke from the dry ice! The staff were so nice and explained how everything worked and answered the 1000 questions my son had. We will definitely be back again.

Good and creamy fresh ice cream, delivered by friendly young people. If that was the goal of this establishment, they have succeeded. Also, to be experienced is the long line/wait. It was a Sunday evening and 30 minutes prior to close and the line ended in the doorway.

Its hard to explain how creamy the ice cream is. The liquid nitrogen freezes it so fast that the ice crystals cant get very big so you have the smoothest possible creation. I learned the principle from Alton Brown, but the technique here takes it the next level.

A fun experience to have with the family and tasty ice cream. Lots of flavor combinations to choose from. They make your ice cream right in front of you! Clean establishment and courteous staff. Minor complaint is the long line, but its worth the wait!

The babes behind the counter, 4.5 stars. The ice cream, 4.5 stars. The service, 2 stars. I had to just stand around while others were passing me by the narrow counter while I slowly waited for my shake Would return for the chicks and sweet ice cream

The ice cream was amazing. I got the key lime cheesecake and my husband got white chocolate ice cream with Graham crackers, blueberries, and cheesecake bites. Very creamy and a nice treat. The staff was very friendly. It was a fun experience.

Great ice cream, competitive prices if not cheaper than marble slab or coldstone. The fact you get to watch it go from cream to the ice cream of your choosing in just a few seconds is pretty cool. Its just better, gotta try it to get it.

Very amazing and eye opening experience to see the ice cream made. The kids will simply look c this as a family outing must go. Plus they have me gummi beats in a cup I request no charge (inner kid). THANK GUYS
