My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs for a week. Twin Grove is one of the few campgrounds on the eastern side of Pennsylvania that has running water in early April—but that’s not all they had! The campground itself is huge with a good number of pull-through and back-in spots for RVs and a large number of cabin for rent. The location is conveniently off of Interstates 81 and 78 and it’s set back just enough that you don’t hear a whole ton of traffic when you’re trying to relax. My only advice is that if you are going to stay for more than a couple of nights, hit up the the grocery stores in Lebanon before you arrive because it’s quite the trek into town for real groceries. There is what appears to be a full amusement park for families to keep their children entertained. Whether it costs extra or not, the sheer number of activities is enough to keep most kids busy and that should keep most parents happy. This includes a few playgrounds, a carousel, a pool with a water slide, an ice cream parlor, and many other activities. The bath facilities were warm and clean, but the showers fell short of even standard expectations with painful water pressure, very dark lighting, and faucet fixtures that were hard to turn off, on, and set temperatures. The laundry room was clean and the machines were in good working order. The number one reason why we are likely to return time and time again, though, are the two massive fenced dog parks they have available for their furry campers. The wifi was excellent for a campground and while it wasn’t as fast as a private connection, it was very good for the standard working adult to keep up with the goings-on at the office. Verizon cell phone reception was also excellent in the area. Overall, we had a great stay and will be back for another week the next time we pass through!

I stayed here with my family.. and my 2 friends and their family each rented a cabin near ours.. Check in was a breeze.. after settling in we thought the cabin was cute.. Except that the floors were filthy.. 2 mins of walking barefoot they were black on the bottom.. we had a cute little porch area but it was in need of a hose down as well.. This place would be 5 Star if they would just keep up with the campgrounds and cabins better.. We enjoyed arts and crafts in the morning.. it was relatively cheap and fun to paint ceramics.. We enjoyed the amusement area but after letting my kids into the bouncy house they were filthy.. they should really hose them down from time to time.. The pool and slides were great.. One complaint I had with this place was that their WiFi was completely down and they had no kid channels except cartoon network so at time we were in my cabin the kids were bored.. another complaint I had was when we went into the loft in our cabin there were 5 hornets by the windows.. After calling the front desk since my 3 yr old daughter was freaking out I was told that there was wasp spray under the sink... I told them I needed someone to come by but nothing after an hour of waiting.. I had my friend come spray .. and when he did in the aRea by the window where they were the spray leaked outside onto the grill because the cabin wasnt sealed properly.. The maintance guy showed up after an hr and 15 mind and 3 calls... by then I just had a headache and asked for him to just seal the gaps by the loft window so we wouldnt have this problem again.. Overall cute family place but needs some TLC to be 5 stars

This place is a must for central PA. I wouldnt say that it is "right off the interstate" but it is not far off I81, both north and south. nice easy drive both directions, maybe 5-8 miles centered from both north and south. There isnt much to do in the area other then hiking, but the campground makes up for that in the summer. with a mini amusement park, the kids are sure to find something to do. two nice pools with both having water slides. a nice small one for the younger ones, and medium to large for the "big kids at heart". the staff is willing to help whenever they can, with wate ever they can. the sites can be a little tricky to navigate, and some are on the smaller side. it is not the most level at some spots, but is nothing a few blocks cant handle. the cabins are nicer then most hotels i stayed in. complete with cable, which is bare bones, but you are camping. they do have delux cabins complete with dises and all. just bring the outfits. there is a large "overflow" area which is quite inconvient to the rest of the park, but is hardly used. this KOA is open year round, with a skeleton crew on in the winter months. this could be the reason for the "un-carted navigation" We go here several times thru out the year, and enjoy it everytime. often it is easy to plan a weekend with freinds, they make every attempt to keep you as close as possible. Must see if you are passing by. they also do honor military discounts, and is not far from Ft. Indiantown Gap, ARMY reserve. just over the mountain.

The ONLY reason it gets two stars is because the camp ground was clean and well kept. However, the management is a joke. The morning we were to leave for the campground for a family reunion my father unexpectedly passed away (he and my mother had rented one of the cabins). After multiple calls and 2 days I finally was able to reach someone (who sounded like a very young girl). She stated she would speak to the manager and call me back. The young girl called back stating they would not be giving any sort of refund because this sort of thing "happens all the time". I asked to have the manager call directly (rather than having the teen do her dirty work) and never did receive a call. The rest of the family still came to the camp ground and when we got there the place was empty (not too busy that a manager couldnt call back) and indeed a teenager was running the place. The kids that seemed to run the place were very sweet but every adult employee I encountered throughout the campground was extremely rude (not the manager mind you because she hid up in the loft the entire time) The kids had fun at the arcade and riding the rides and it was served the purpose to get together as a family, however, there are MANY other places run much more professionally than this in the area.

The campground itself is nice, maintained, and peaceful. Store has a variety of stuff at not so crazy prices. Pool is fun for the kids with 2 small water slides but adequate. 0 degree pool entry is great for people with disabilitie. The pet friendly aspect is a gem I wont lie. But I did have a few issues....1 I sent my 9 year old girls on the bounce slides and houses and they are completely filthy. Almost as if they put them up years ago and leave them out in all weather....no washing....Nothing. second, ice cream doesnt open until 6pm. No ice cream all day. 3rd, I found that they were off the bat rude to our 3 teenagers. It seemed as if they would watch them whetever we went and complain at any little thing. I watched another family throwing a ball around the pool that came over to my chair 2 times while our boys throw a ball and it stays in the pool and they get yelled at. I felt they were targeted our whole trip. Side note as well....this is the only pool we were told we could not bring Gatorade or Iced tea in plastic botitles purchased 2 minutes before from their own store. Apparently only water in clear bottles are permitted. Just an FYI.
