This is hands down the best whisky bar in Denver metro area. Ive been a semi regular here for over three years and Johnnie always takes care of me like family. This treatment is not specific to me either; every patron is treated with hospitality. Not only this but the man knows his brown liquor. Probably others as well but I dont drink clear liquor. Ive had a fair range of the menu and it has never disappointed. The scotch prices cannot be beat. Period. End of story. Oh and the collection will be more than sufficient for even the snobbiest of hipsters. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. The beer is served traditional and on nitro, at least usually two options are on nitro. Murphys. Thank you. Not that other rubbish. Come here. Grab a flight. Sit back and enjoy. You will love it!

Ive been looking for a place like this for a while. Its got an excellent selection of housemade food from across the pond, as well as an imposing list of whiskys to try out. The food Ive had there is excellent, and nothing Ive tried has failed to meet my expectations. The atmosphere is excellent, making you feel comfortable and like youre in a place you could spend many an evening in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to the selection. Im rating this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the small beer selection (relative to their whisky list). Theyve got a few local brews and imports, but I was hoping for a more extensive list of imports for a British pub.

Our friends like to try new restaurants on the west side of Denver and had been raving about The Burns Pub ever since their first visit. They insisted we tag along and try it. Were so glad we did! You wouldnt expect a British pub like this to be sitting in the midst of a small regional airport, and yet there it is. Step inside and you feel like you could be across the pond at a local corner pub based on the decor and layout (ignoring everyones American accents). The food is delicious. We sipped some ciders, shared some Scotch eggs with our friends, and devoured the Fish and Chips and Beef Wellington. It was everything wed hoped for. So glad we know about this place now!

Im definitely biased for Irish/British pubs and pub food. This one is great - its very cozy inside, small tables, small room (there is another one on the other side of the bar) - feels very homey and welcoming. Great comfort food - shepherds pie and rarebit were excellent. I will have to try their burger at some point... or just keep stuffing my face with shepherds pie. Beer selection is not very large - but good enough for me (they introduced me to a local brewery that I didnt hear of before, but now like). And to make it even better - there is a cute hotel in the same building, as well as a tea room for some proper British afternoon tea.

Having lived in England and now considering it my second home, I have had many disappointed occasions going to pubs in the US masquerading as a British pub. Not so with the Burns Pub. Walking in I felt like was back in my local in England, which feels more like an extension of your own home than a restaurant. The food is truly traditional and certainly rivals some of the best Gastropubs Ive been to in England. The item you DO NOT WANT TO MISS, however, is the Irish coffee. A bit pricey even a most drinks go, but worth every last penny. Deep, dark, rich and oh-so-satisfying on a dark winter night.

Menu was simple, about 20 plus items. Some great british fare like bangers and mash and rarebit. I had the Reuben. Delicious! They make their own corned beef and sauerkraut in house and you can tell. My wife tried the bangers and mash. Equally delicious! Beer selection is good with a large selection of sam smith items and some rotating local brews. Excellent whiskey/scotch/bourbon selection with a great selection of flights when you cant decide on one. Johnny was extremely knowledgeable about what they had and why we might enjoy it. Definitely going back.

Nice place, but go when youre not in a rush. The patio is a nice place for a drink and a meal. The shepherd pie and scotch egg are excellent. If you know what scotch you like, they probably have it. If you dont know what scotch you like, the bartender is very knowledgeable and very willing to talk whiskey. Service was slow both times Ive gone. I dont think they have a large kitchen, so meals can come out slowly and Im not sure why drinks were slow to get poured. I think the atmosphere, food and drink more than make up for it.

Excellent food, beer and atmosphere! Was told to check it out and Im glad I did. My only issue is that they had a special board (without prices) and I ordered the Beef Wellington after the waitress told me it was awesome - and it was. But the $29 bill for it was not. Now that is my fault as I should have asked. But then again, I feel a little "taken." The $100 price tag for a dinner for three (2 beers at happy hour price, 2 desserts, 2 entrees, and 2 apps) was a little more then I expected. Put your prices out.

The food sounded good but it was okay. I had Shepards Pie and it was just meat potatoes and a couple carrots. No bread, no other vegetable, nothing. Not what Im use to in a Shepards pie. The lamb lollipops, a special for the night, looked very good and seemed very popular. We were there on a Sunday and they had live music. It was a lot of fun. It is a very tiny bar. The waitress could barely get around. It was a fun atmosphere but very small and not a lot of room to get around in.

Best fish and chips in Colorado! I ate there for lunch and they were fantastic. There area couple of places in CO that do "OK" fish but the chips are always american fries. The Burns Pub does proper chips, twice fried just like they should be. The fish was also very good, nice big flakes, moist and the batter was just right. The scotch eggs here are also great! I paired it with a good pint of british beer and a pot of tea for after! Marvelous stuff.

This is a fun and interesting pub in the Broomfield area; minus the RV that seems to always be outside, the patio is rather nice on a cool evening! The whiskey selection is impeccable and the draft selection can be pretty good, especially if theyre doing a tap takeover with a local brewery or taphouse. The food is all around good, but the Beef Wellington special is the best dish on offer, if you can get there on a day when theyre serving it!

I dont know how they do it, but this place feels 100% like a small town British pub. Maybe its because its isolated, or because its at the top of the hill, but it so closely resembles a small cottage somewhere in the Lake District that if you blindfolded someone for 10 hours and brought them here, theyd likely think you took them to Britain. They have local folk groups playing music as well which adds to the ambiance in a big way.
