I think I would have liked this place more if it was not as crowded. I have to applaud the barista/ cashier for being so nice to a very difficult customer. I waited in line for around 10 min as these two women asked a hundred questions about the menu. Finally after the women decided what the wanted, they kept coming back to the front of the cashier to complain about the drink. It took awhile, but I was finally able to get my drink. The poor cashier was so nice and made sure the "difficult" customer was happy. There were not many seats available as this was a Sunday and people were listening to a drum session in the back of the shop. The coffee was good overall. I cant complain too much about it, the coffee was tasty and the size was large.

Horrible service. Been there for the 1st time walking past. The guy at the counter shouting over to me not even being halfway through the door what i wanted. The way he looked at me was like i shouldnt be here. I started to order and the whole time hes staring out the window not facing me. I say excuse me and he scowls at me. I restar my order while hes rolling his eyes at me. When i finish he shouts at me to speak louder and waves his finger in my face. I order AGAIN. he makes it then places it on the counter and stares at me. I wait for 30 seconds and he never tells me the price. I ask how much then he tells me. He drops my change in my hand and walks away.

Ordered a water for my one year old a and small light iced coffee with caramel ..the girl at counter didnt seem to understand ...she pumped carmel in the and put whatever she felt like in the cup..didnt even bother to stir it. I stood there and used the straw to stir it myself while she was busy looking at her phone. Nastiest cup of coffee ive ever had. Threw it right in the trash and left. She never bothered to give me my water for my baby either. No wonder the place just had 2 people who were only drinking bottled water n huffing the free wifi. Cute place lackluster service Yuck!

Sip This is a Valley Stream hub. You have Open Mic Nights twice a month. New art every month. Live music from local bands on the weekend. An expanding menu and an always evolving staff to meet the demands and needs of the community and its patronage. In the past during the aftermath of the hurricanes that hit long island they participated in food drives. Stephanie and David (the owners) are in it for the long hall and will do what they must to make sure the customers are always happy. Stop in and experience Sip This for yourself.

The ONLY place in this whole section of Nassau County for gourmet coffee and espresso drinks that isnt a Starbucks. The only other place to go around here is in Long Beach, where a roaster there supplies the store roasted, daily ground coffee served by Sip This. Visiting here is like a little trip to Seattle or to hipster Brooklyn. Plus, they support local musicians, poets and entertainers with performances in the store most evenings.

Good drink selections and reasonably priced. Good customer service and they have a rewards program. They also host trivia night and open mic nights. They do offer breakfast and lunch but its a single special for the day (no other choices) They just started serving food so its super plain (grilled cheese or BLT ect) and you can no longer bring in outside food which is why I gave it 4 stars

If you are anywhere close, you have to stop in! They have a great selection of coffees, teas and delicious yumminess to snack on. It is a great atmosphere, very comfortable and welcoming. They are very involved in the community, and always have something going on; comedy night, open mic, magic, trivia, live music & more! They also feature a new local artist each month.

Calm relaxed atmosphere with a cool indie vibe, a great place to sit down and catch up with a friend or do some hardcore studying. Coffee options are in abundance, and come in giant warm mugs! I like that they often have events such as open mic nights throughout the month. Also have board games if you are into that!! Coffee is pretty solid :)

An excellent little place that was once a Record Store called- "Slipped Disc" for many years. Its a cozy little nook to meet up with friends over a hot cup of tea, hot chcolate,latte,coffee, scones,cake, etc. Or if you just want to go there alone to sit and read a book or use your laptop,etc. The staff is very friendly and nice.

Excellent! Valley Stream and the surrounding area has been in dire need of a neighborhood coffee shop for years - great coffee teas and espresso drinks, relaxed comfortable atmosphere, good music.. art shows, nighttime events, & open late! What more could you want?

Absolutely love this place. A great cafe to run to on a whim. And if youre lucky, there will be some sort of entertainment. Comedian, live music, magician, you name it. The food selection is just a little lackluster. The beverage and hot drink selection is stellar.

Great atmosphere to come get a caffeinated beverage and get some work done, catch up with a friend or just cool out. Their cold brew is nice and smooth. Made in house and the staff is very pleasant. Ill be coming here often when I cant get to my fav BK spots.

Always a great cup of coffe or tea. Friendly, efficient service with a smile. Food seems a bit pricey for what it is but hey, there arent too many places you can go into and relax without dropping a lot of money on drinks etc so a decent bargain over all.

Even though their expresso machine was broken at the time I visited it was still a pleasant experience. Very nice staff and a laid back and chill environment. They had a live band playing some soft blues music. Lots of coffee flavors and good munchies.

Beautiful place that supports local artists and hosts a bunch of great programs. The drinks taste great, the music creates a nice atmosphere, the staff is friendly, and they even sell local merch. The only thing is that the prices are a little high.
