I hate to write a completely negative review but there was nothing worthwhile I found about going to Douglas Corner Cafe. The worst part of it is, for a place that calls itself a cafe they don't even serve food. Secondly, the bartender working the night I was there was the slowest and most inattentive person I've ever seen behind a bar. It literally took me 12 minutes to get a drink and there were only four people waiting at the bar. The parking lot is extraordinarily tight and there's a good chance that you'll come out to find a ding in your doors or a scuff on your bumper. On top of that the $10 cover charge wasn't worth the mediocre talent playing that night.

Had a great experience tonight with a mid-week set from a great band out of Louisiana (The Levees). This was my first visit to this bar but I was brought in and felt like a regular tonight. I enjoyed the show in the full but not over-crowded space and had great drinks served by the two ladies at the bar. All-in-all, very impressed by this place that looks like an ordinary brick building on the outside but has a huge heart and soul on the inside. Thanks for the fun! If youre looking for cocktails and champagne go elsewhere, but if you want a great vibe and live music thats not blaring to the point you cant HEAR what the band is doing then come join in the fun.

Douglas Corner Cafe is probably the most over rated venue in the world. We went for an open mic night on a Tuesday and the place was filthy and stunk of stale beer and urine. If you like guitars turned up way to loud and musicians screaming at the top of their lungs then this is the place for you. As for us, we plan on returning for open mic in Nashville, but will go to the Commdore Grill and Bluebird Cafe. Just Saying...

I love this venue. No Smoking inside (smoking deck out back). The sound system is top notch. The staff are very friendly. Ive performed at this venue a couple of times and have enjoyed it each time. I hope to return there to play to another packed house again soon. The only negative I have is the lack of a good food menu.

Great drafts, great music. The sound engineer here really knows how to mix appropriately for the room. Went and saw Katie Baseden and Daniel Ethridge perform, it was incredible. Place is never really packed so its nice.

GREAT PLACE FOR MUSIC. Bartender is sweet older lady who is just too fun. Good outdoor patio and lots of nearby parking. Great drunk food options too-- cant beat pretzels, mini pizzas, or nachos!
