This is my first- and probably only- google review of a restaurant. I have no complaints about the food (good, not great- get what yo pair for, fair value) but the customer service is horrible. I ordered through Grubhub and they got my order wrong, and when I called in they were closed. Thats fine- people want to go home, I can understand getting an order mixed up. It happens. Today I called Grubhub to talk about the situation, and after the rep called Evans, they told her I needed to return the pizza. Return. The. Pizza. Im sorry, but Im not driving 15 minutes out of my way in the city to return a pizza order that THEY messed up, just to get a refund. Really? Its almost insulting that theyd ask, because this means two things: 1. They plan on re-using the pizza. This is probably even worse... 2. Theyre trying to make things difficult. I cant see any other reason why they would ask to return the day old pizza to their shop. Im incredibly disappointed. Ive ordered from Evans every week for almost 4 years of my undergrad at college, and have never in my life experienced this level of customer service, here or anywhere else. I will never again order from Evans, and I would encourage people to read some other reviews on here regarding their service.

Fyre Rayne — 1 starTheir driver refused to get out of the car and knock on the door because of a Beware of Dog sign. Their excuse was that the driver didnt want to rile up a dog..... seriously?? SO is he afraid of the dog or the SIGN. because I could just as easily not have the sign up THEN when I called an hour and forty five minutes later to have the delivery resent...They didnt even bother to apologize AND they sent the same (and by this time) COLD pizza. I have international guest and spent the better part of the evening raving about the ONLY pizza place we order from.... WON"T be making that mistake again. I asked them to remake the pizza and send it out. It is supposed to take 20 minutes now... I will change the rating if they manage to do something right this evening.... So far the level of disapointment is staggering!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. This food is disgusting and the management is rude. The order we placed had to be corrected 3 times which resulted in the delivery man having to return to our location on 3 seperate occasions. The management was disorganized and rude. In the case of the turkey burger we ordered, I have never had a drier piece of meat in my life. I do not eat beef, I have had many turkey burgers in my life and they have NEVER been this dry and disgusting. The manager refused to give us a full refund for our botched and distasteful order. He instead gave us a $5 refund on a $27 order. They also did not honor the online coupon we had. Terrible experience, terrible service, terrible food.

The food is good especially the chicken ceasar salad but the male cashier that works at night is very rude and has no customers service skills. Remember that the client is king and upholds your establishment. We secret shopped the establishment and the male cashier charged different prices on different occasions on the same order. Most likely this guy is the owner or related to him because he seriously doesnt care how he adresses the customers nor the fluctuation of the prices depending on his mood . This "1star" given is to show how important customer service is , could have been a 5 star easy.

I always say Im done with this place but their food is good and they are open late but Ive been ordering from here for years and there are constantly problems with my orders. The food usually takes over a hour for delivery. Sometimes I have waited 2 hours!! Once they completely forgot my whole order, other times Im missing items. They never offer any compensation!! If you are going to order from them make sure u do pickup!!! The drivers are sometimes rude! Oh and the girls who answer the phone sure do have smart mouths!!! Just save your money!!!! Do not I repeat do not order from here!!!

I ordered a few slices of pizza, an the person at the store stacked all of the slices on top of one another. As you can imagine the cheese from all of the slices got stuck to the bottom of the slice on top off it. When I called to complain the person who answered the phone and stated that they normally did not deliver slices. They made it sound like they were doing me a favor! As if I could not order from other places! Then the person on the phone stated "f*** you" and hung up on me! How is this acceptable behavior?

I frequented Evans throughout much of my undergraduate career, and for good reason! The beer and beverage selection is top notch for a hole in the wall! The pizza is crafted with fine cheese and topping atop a burgeoning, hearty crust! The staff is made up of some of the friendliest people youll ever meet - they even gave me a free slice of cake on my birthday one year! I highly recommend this establishment and the people who bring it to life :)

Food is good yet No more ordering from Evans pizza, owner gotta gripe about his computer loyalty system after Ive spent $100 two weeks ago, n his rep behind the counter likes to hang up on customers when u want to talk to owner....Im dropping $50 for food I want to order now but cant. Ive been ordering since 2011 from here over $100/month and never had a problem till now, aint that a b***, they just lost a customer from bad customer services!!!!

I called to order food, so I say can I have boneless barbecue wings and the person on the other line says what about them. So I say can I order boneless wings and he says did you already order. So then the call disconnects. I call back and he answers with an attitude saying, "Hello Evans" with an attitude so I immediately hang up. These people need more training in customer service.

Quick service in person, relatively inexpensive. Salads were much better than anticipated - large portions, fresh ingredients, and delicious garlic bread. Hoagies are also recommended, especially the italian. A hoagie and a side salad is easily 2 meals-worth given their portions. Another perk is they sell individual beers, as well as 6 packs at a decent price.

Crappy neighbors. They have a loading zone but save parking spots outside with big, overflowing trash cans. Out front is often dirty. In warm weather they set up chairs outside blocking the sidewalk and you have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to get down the street. If you live in the neighborhood long enough, theyll do something to annoy you.

I ordered the chicken Alfredo and the shrimp Alfredo off eat24. the option for chicken was $2.50, the option for shrimp was $2. Now what it doesnt say that its only for one piece of shrimp.. So to at least have 4 pieces of shrimp is an additional $8. So you just have a big tin of noodles.. Sickening. I keep a star because the delivery was fast.

I called to cancel an order and the manager is telling me that I wont get my money back. What? I dont want the food and you want to keep my money? They are nothing but thieves. Then he calls Grubhub to inform them that they shouldnt refund me anything. What kind of restaurant does that. Stay away from these thieves.
