Im changing my whole review as I just opened Yelp to find the very same complaints from people more than a year ago. I was initially hesitant because this is someones restaurant, and I want to be fair, but I just cannot let this go. I tried this restaurant with my wife July 23, 2016, because of all the positive reviews. And the fact that the owner has responded to each of the reviews. It seemed he cares about the place. The place was empty, other than one other table. (8 pm Friday night - should it be busy then?) We ate - I spoke with the owner before leaving about our impressions - as follows. My wifes $11 dinner salad was iceberg lettuce with baby carrots, cheap croutons, a couple other small toppings I cannot recall now, and a few rings of palm heart. VERY underwhelming. I asked the owner if he has had a salad at other restaurants. Apparently, per his response, the dressing is supposed to liven this all up... I had the beef rolls. The beef itself was fine. I asked that the plain white rice be substituted for extra beans. I believe I ended up getting some extra beans (because the plate was initially brought out wrong with rice and a smaller bowl of beans), but the portion was still quite small. The beans were ok. The fries were fries. I left hungry and both the wife and I were irritated after spending $35 for the underwhelming meal. The server was polite and responded to the comments I had as politically as he could. He was left a 20% tip regardless of the meal. I dont get all the good reviews for this place... marked with one dollar sign. It wasnt "one dollar sign" cheap. As said, I was very hesitant to leave this review - publicly. But if one looks at yelp reviews, other people had the very same complaints (see 3 in a row) more than a year ago - specifically about the salad. The owner told me if we came in again, the salad would be different. Whelp, hes heard it before (I just now discover) and apparently its the same salad after a year. Anyway, I wish him and the business well. But my wife and I will not go back.

Absolutely amazing. My friends and I decided to go after work which was around 3:45. They dont open till 5. There was a sweet sweet lady who saw us at the door and decided to open it and let us come in and eat even though it was closed. She turned on the lights and the music and gave us our beverages. One of my friends had a Margarita on the rocks... which was Fabulous. The food was amazing. One friend had the Gnocchi with the basil red sauce(absolutely amazing... that is what Im getting next time), I had the Bife Acebolado which was so good and tasty, and the other two friends had the Feijoada, which they absolutely loved. The staff kept coming and checking up on us to see if we needed anything. The lady owner was so so sweet. We just kept asking her questions about her hometown in Brazil. She did very well on her English. We will definitely be going back. Thank you so much for an amazing experience and your hospitality.

I had a bad experience today...first I was told that they didnt have delivery today, then when I got bat with the order the receipt was not in the bag...I ordered the #8 Au-Au hot dog. Suggestion when someone orders this to go the vinaigrette should be put in a little cup to go...by bread was soggy. I called regarding my receipt and the person that answered first said that I should have grabbed my receipt, um how if I dont know where you placed it and then he told me that he gave it to me when I signed their copy but yet I was only handed one receipt. Then he tells me that they will email it to me tonight or tomorrow which make me thinks that they will just forget about it. Not good at all, I have to account for the items that I ordered through the company payroll so now am I going to have to go back AGAIN? Wow, I am not happy.

FABULOUS! We had a great time and great food cooked from scratch. WE had fried polenta with Parmesan cheese on it- GREAT- I had a Brazilian version of Alfredo with STRIPS of NY strip on it- Seasonings were fabulous and the Alfredo was wonderful- My date had an authentic Brazilian dish - Shrimp bobo DELICIOUS... We are going to make this a regular spot- The Sangria is made from scratch and loaded with fruit and the Ice Tea tastes great- Our Waiter was wonderful and catered to our every need. The Chef came out and told us about the region our foods came from- This restaurant is like no other because it displays different foods from different regions of Brazil. The Chef spoke on the people and the different ethnic groups and I cannot wait to come back to this restaurant... Thanks

The food was quick and very tasty. My friend and I split the steak rolls and the appetizer sampler. This was a great way to try things. I would definitely order the steak rolls again and the appetizer with the ground beef was my favorite. The "Caipirinha" cocktail was super yummy (we ordered it less sweet-similar to a mojito). They take reservations so I would recommend doing that if you are planning dinner before a show a the Paramount.

I went for an early dinner and haDthe grilled chicken plate. Had a Groupon for 2, but since I have no one to share with, they let me use it. The chicken was delicious and full of flavor. The rice was amazing. The black bean soup is tasty. The fries were a tiny bit overcooked, but flavorful. The only drawback is the dry, leathery, foul tasting salad. Drowning it in dressing did not help. I will go again and skip the salad.

My wife is Brazilian and she loves it, she says it tastes like home made. I am Mexican, yes I like it too and would come back except we live in the city and is a long drive. Compared to other Brazilian restaurants you have a decent variety for decent price and is attended by the owner, that is to my eyes a good thing.

We had a party of 4 that was looking for a place to have dinner before a show at the Paramount. We Googled for restaurants and decided to eat at USamba. It was a GREAT EXPERIENCE. The food was absolutely wonderful as was the service. This is most definitely a restaurant that we will revisit!

It was empty late Tuesday night. We ordered the key lime pie, $5 a slice. The slice was a generous portion and it was good! Sweeter than an average key lime with a very creamy almost thick pudding like texture. It wasnt very tart, but still delicious. Their menu is interesting.

Very authentic Brazilian food, very warm atmosphere, and with fair prices. Some highlights are the appetizers (coxinha, pastel) and the feijoada for 2 (dinner only), and the always fresh brigadeiro for dessert. I strongly recommend.

I am Brazilian and I thought that I would be a long time without eating a good coxinha. But I found this place and the coxinha and the brigadeiro and everything that I tried was amazing. And the price is good too.
