I am livid right now! I just left from dining here and was completely disrespected. I spent over $30 on food, the waiter seemed nice and friendly at first. When she brought us our check, I paid the bill with my debit card (As I normally tip in cash) as we were boxing our leftovers the manager comes to our table with our receipt and rudely ask if we forgot something. I looked at her confused as to what was the problem and she again asks us, if we forgot anything as she is now pointing to our bill. I looked at my husband still confused as to what she is implying. She then walked away to the other side of the restaurant and continued to watch us with such a unpleasant look. I then put 2 and 2 together and told my husband "I think shes referring to a tip) which was funny because at that same time he was already placing his tip into the receipt book. After leaving the tip, I then walked towards the disgruntled manager and explained how the food was amazing, as this was our first time there and how I left the tip in cash and she started arguing with me about their lack of business and how they are used to not getting tips as if I had something personally to do with that. Thus woman literally was so rude its sad! Ive always wanted to try this place, so I was extremely disappointed. I understand waiters work for their tips, but we left more then a 10 percent tip and even still it wasnt enough to have the manager look at us with such disgust for no reason. I will never go back to this place, its no wonder we were the only ones there. I definitely do not recommend going here. Ill stick to my Jasmine Thai where the food and service is great!

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. We sat down, ordered drinks and appetizers. Half an hour later, no appetizers and our food order hadnt been taken. We called the server over to let him know we were in a hurry. He said they were busy. They werent. There were plenty of empty tables. One of the appetizers came out, fifteen minutes another one. We had no silverware or napkins. Used tissues from my purse to set my spring roll down on the table. Seriously. Less than a minute later the food comes out for two people at the table. We couldnt believe it since the appetizer just came. One of the dishes was fine the other one was cold. The sushi came out, the fried roll was cold. Called the manager over he tried to tell us the fried roll was left out to cool off because its sushi. The manager didnt give a crap and Im honestly not sure he understood what we were saying. One of the dishes was decent, the rest were cold, and the service was the worst Ive ever seen. Theres a reason why most of the good reviews are from years ago. Maybe it was good once upon a time but its atrocious now.

My husband and I love Thai food. We were in the lobby 10 minutes before acknowledged with a hasty "Sit anywhere." Husband ordered his curry at their "firehouse" heat level. It was barely equivalent to jalapeño heat. My food was very disappointing - Egg noodles were overcooked so very mushy. The food smelled like wet dog, was very lacking in any sort of pleasent flavor. It just tasted bad. I ordered beef and recieved chicken, when I questioned it I was told I was mistaken. Sorry, but its extremely easy to tell the difference between beef and chicken. Service was poor. She checked on us three times during our visit - drinks, our order, and the check. Our food took 40 minutes to arrive after ordering, our check took 20 minutes after having to flag her down to request it. The place was not busy, and there were two waitresses. Over all, not a pleasant experience. Second star simply because, when the waitress actually helped us, she was kind.

Terrible experience. Girlfriend made Valentines reservations for 7:30. When we arrive, the restaurant is 1/2 empty...please keep this in mind as you follow the review. We are led back to our table and in that entire section, only four other tables are seated. Five minutes goes by. Ten minutes go by. Fifteen minutes go by. Although three separate servers come into our section, not a single server asked us for drink or even used the excuse of "Sorry we are busy." They absolutely refused to even make eye contact with us. We should have known there were issues when one of the other tables was served the wrong meal. After almost 20 minutes of no contact, we went up front and asked to see a manager. We were told by one of the servers who had been in our section but avoiding use that the manager was "Too busy to see us." Absolutely one of the worst and most unprofessional dining...excuse me...ATTEMPTED dining experiences in my life.

Worst Thai food I have ever experienced! I ordered the Satay, Summer Rolls, and Panang Duck. The Satay was the only thing that remotely resembled what it was supposed to taste like. The Summer Rolls barely had shrimp, if at all as I dont recall tasting or seeing them. It was basically all rice noodles, carrots, and cucumber. The sauce was bland. The final and crushing blow was the Panang Duck. The Panang Curry sauce was thin as water and it was so disgusting and flavorless you could only taste the green beans. The duck was served in a separate container, which made no sense as the curry could have used all of the help it could get. I mean it. It was orange colored water with green beans and few pieces of red/ green pepper. I also must say this is the first time I ever ordered curried anything and it didnt come with rice. I spent $40 and would have enjoyed a tin of Tom Kha from the ethnic market immensely better for only $3.

First the most important thing is about food. It was bad. I am a lover of thai food. But these folks dont know how to make. Pad thai was dry. Fried rice had a feeling of eating plastic. The chickens in curries was terrible. The service was even worse. They give you the menu and forget about you. They keep on talking among themselves as if you dont exists. Never came back to ask if we need any more water. You got to keep looking , spot one and ask for anything you need. Once they have some more guests coming in they even forgot us to give the check. You wait 15 minutes after finishing before they come and give you check. Then never came back to collect the check. We got up in disgust walked to the front desk waited their for one to come and charge our credit card. Worst of all they add 18% gratuity for the terrible service. I did nit feel like giving 18 cents. Please rename to Thai Terrible! Not again to this place!

Thai Thani is like a book you shouldnt judge by its cover--except in the opposite sense. This restaurant looks great, the atmosphere is very beautiful, but the food is just not up to par. I had dinner with my family there for a birthday, and I have to admit, I have had much better Thai food from around the Tampa Bay area. They may not have had as nice seating arrangements, but the food was better, and thats what matters. The service was horrible. My family and I were there for three hours due to a really bad waiter who would not check on us at all, so when it came time to pay, we were stuck waiting for a very long time. The worst part about the service is that they charged my card four times. Only one went through, but for a week afterwards, I had a $250 hold on my account, which was very aggravating. I will not be going back to Thai Thani, and I advise you to find a different Thai restaurant.
