Contrary to the previous post Country Cottage is NOT premanently closed... yet. I had lunch there today. They WILL have to close if the long promised I5 interchange upgrade happens... but that has been in the works for 12 years now.... hopefully the Cottage will remain around for another 12... but know this... they ARE open and serving the usual down home excellent meals they are known for in our little community.
Not to miss items include the turkey dinner, homemade soups and killer breakfasts. I personally think they have some of the best biscuits and gravy around (be forewarned, the sausage is not cooked into the gravy, it is added as a chopped patty then smothered in a sage cream gravy... outstanding fare!)

I ordered crisp hash browns but they were mush on the inside. When my son got up to use the bathroom the women seating people came and took his chair without saying a word, my husband finely ask her if we could have the chair back she said oh I thought it was just the two of you but she sat us. Food not any better then dennys but dennys is cleaner

There were six of us. We all enjoyed what we had. The chili was yummy, the tips and noodles were very tasty and the homemade strawberry jam was scrumptious. The food was delicious, good portions, the waitress that waited our table was pleasant. Would definitely come back and eat here again and would recommend it to anyone going through Woodburn.

Had the best lunch at Country Cottage! We had the hot turkey sandwich and it was great...real potatoes and turkey! I hadnt been there in a long time but will definitely go back. Breakfasts that other people ordered looked really good, too! The server, Kelly, was fast and efficient even though they were really busy.

I have ate at this restaurant many time and had never had any isues except the other day when i called to place an order while on my lunch break, I was told to hold i was on hold for 7 minutes i think whoever answered the phone forgot all about me because i heard everything the person was doing except taking my order.

The food was amazing, couldnt stop eating, everything was home made and you can tell they prefer quality over quantity but even then my plate was stacked high, the clam chowder was by far the best clam chowder ive ever had, i was completely spoiled by the service and the food. 10/10 would eat there again.

The service was lovely, we walked in near closing time and they were really nice about it even though we stayed past closing. The food was okay, pork chops were a bit too salty and I dont recall any apple sauce on there ... But considering how late we got there Ill give them a pass on this.

Yum, thats all just yum! Just remember that the current address is at 1776 Country club road at the Estates golf and Country Club. The restaurant is open to the public. I enjoyed the Friday night special of fish and chips and it is the best i have ever had.

Absolutely fantastic service. Our server Debbie was amazing. Having some food allergies she even brought out the packaging on their mix so I could make sure there was no msg. Rock Star!! Food was very good, and the view of the golf course was lovely.

I had the fish and chips and the portion was great. The menu had so many good options and it was delicious. All three if the people I came with had nothing but good things to say. The staff was also very friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Take your time, simplicity country style (Oregon Loger Style Influence is Obvious) so bring an appetite! Coffee not so good 3 out of 10, its liquid, its brown; warm. Keep the coffee expectations low. Deserts alone are worth the trip=pies!

I would be a 5 star review if I would have only ordered the eggs Benny!!! But on ordered a steak:-( saying it was well done is a understatement!!! It needed ketchup it was so done . . I felt lil like Trump a little waisting the meat

I am a repeat customer so I guess it is OK for them to serve me Bad food. I ordered the Prime Rib, it was the worst I have ever seen or eaten. It was tough and chewy and looked like dried leather. I will never go back.

The owners and the waitresses are wonderful people there fun and theyre always concerned about their customers whether things are going good or going bad so dont be afraid to talk to them and the food is good
