By far the worst dining experience I have had at the beach in years. Not only did the server act like he was on some type of drugs but the food was awful and overpriced. A friend ordered the chicken and dumplings, it was cold and only contains one small leg of chicken. The beer is below average and the spirits are said to be micro batches when they taste worst than rail drinks. After receiving the bill and informing the server how bad it was, he actually thought we were complementing them and said thank you. For his poor service and unusual behavior we left a 10% tip. He immediately came to the table and picked up the tip and walked over to the bar tender and discussed the low tip while pointing over to our table. This disgusting behavior prompted us to leave before finishing our last drinks and we headed to nicks for a filling meal. Absolutely the worst place in Dewey. The hostess at the front seem to care, work hard, and are engaging and did a good job with what they have to deal with.

I come to this place every Thursday because is the only day I have off in the afternoon, since the first time I was there I loved it, Im a good friend of one of the bartenders and then I met Jeff, this guys are amazing, the food is AMAZING, I love to see a place where everybody work together and work as a team, I keep coming back every Thursday and I will keep coming, I heard you will be open winter time and Im so happy for that, thank you for having a great place to hang out and have a good time, love the summer ale & American ale, THANK YOU GUYS AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BUSINESSES

Super cool place... If they only knew how to cook the food they serve. A little salt and pepper goes a looooong way. Brussel sprouts way under cooked to the point of being rock hard and could use some pancetta or bacon. Yukon mashed needed cream or butter or again, some salt and pepper. Mac n cheese had zero flavor. The nasty fatty gelatinous membrane on the back of the ribs should have been removed. Fried oysters way to big and juicy which made breading soggy and fall off and oh BTW, needed some seasoning. Beer was good. Service was good.

An awkward layout in the bar area limited my enjoyment of what should otherwise be a great concept: a brewery and restaurant in a beach setting, with open side walls/windows for the summer season. The beer was good, but nothing that stood out. Im sure this is a welcome upscaling from the youth-club vibe of Dewey Beach, but was not very impressive for this out-of-town visitor. Granted was my first visit to a relatively new establishment, so I plan to give them another shot.

Food was great - atmosphere was awesome on a beautiful summer evening but had a terrible kick in the you know what by the local parking nazis- the "permits only" sign was covered by trees - had no idea it was there and received an extra little $30 "tax/surcharge" (stick it to the tourists and suck as much money out of them as possible) on my otherwise perfect evening. If I owned the place, Id be calling city hall.

Stopped in Thursday night for a quick one after a long drive to the beach. Arrived at 10:17 pm, posted closing time is 11:00 pm, and was told they were closing up and wouldnt serve us. When my wife mentioned their posted closing time was 11:00 pm he said they "play it by ear". There were still at least 20 patrons there so it isnt like it was a slow evening. It left me with a bad taste (and not from beer).

As a craft beer fan, I came to Dewey Beach on vacation expecting to drink a lot of Dogfish Head... and not much else. However, I stumbled upon Dewey Beer Co. and am SO happy I did! Not only were all of their beers incredibly tasty and well brewed, but the ambience and vibe was very cool and the food was amazing! Fried plantain nachos?! Ridiculously good. Definitely a place not to be missed in Dewey.

Wow, what a find! Everything tastes fantastic. Everything is fresh and local whenever possible. We came with a big group, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Its one thing for a brewery to make fantastic beer, but its another thing for their food to possibly be better than most other restaurants. If tky dont come here, you will miss out on a great lunch or dinner. Guaranteed.

Stopped in for a flight at the bar and dessert. Blueberry dessert was really good, makes me want to try the rest of the menu. Beer was just okay. With Dogfish Head up the street its hard to compare. The IPA 2, Rye IPA and American Pale Ale were the best of the selection. Service was great and atmosphere was cool!

Tuna pad Thai was excellent. They would do parents a favor though if they gave smaller portions for the kids menu - the price is great, but putting a mountain of food in front of a kid is not really helpful. The kids burger meal would easily fill an adult... the mac and cheese was enough food for two people.

Great beer and great service. But the worst ribeye Ive ever been served. Ordered medium and came out WELL done. They may have fixed it had I complained, but I didnt want to be that guy... I also expected a better cut especially since it was bone in and considering the price. Pretty disappointing.

It was raining and I had the kids so I had my brother-in-law pop it to ask about a table for 6 and a highchair, they had plenty of open seats but the hostess couldnt seem to pull her brainless head out of her ass so we went elsewhere. All is good for a better restaurant around the corner.

Meh. Seems to be very popular. Menu choices are ambitious but the food was just okay. Slow service. Beer was fine. Kinda pricy which I wouldnt mind if the beer and food were great. Wont likely be back. Too many other choices nearby with a better bang for the buck.

We have been coming here for our anniversary for 3 years now and have yet to be disappointed! This year we tried melt in your mouth fish & chips that make every other look like fish sticks. Food, service, and beverages are always amazing! Well be back again next year!

Their beers always were pretty good, but they get better every time I go. The Amber and the Saison are my favorites. The Brown Ale is a natural companion to nearly anything on the menu. Speaking of which, you cant go wrong with the Saison steamed mussels.

Oh great, another "brewpub", another "craft beer" with the exception of this is fantastic beer! Trust my 30+ years of drinking beer, these are exceptional brews. The food was excellent as well. If you are in Dewey or just passing through, stop in.

Dewey Beer Co. I enjoyed myself. Had a solo early dinner here on a Friday afternoon. Wasnt super blown away by the service, but the beer was good and I wiped my plate clean! Id be back to try out a couple more beers in the future...
