Worst ever fast food experience. Arrived and the employees were non stop arguing with each other about the drive thru while the line both inside and in the drive thru stood in a stand still for about 15 minutes. This argument was filled with profanity laden swears with many young children in the room. When they finally took our order, they refused to sell us soft drinks unless we paid for a large. we obliged because we really wanted vanilla Coke, but they would only give us child sized cups. when we went to fill our drinks, the machine only spit out plain syrup and the employees would not fix the machine or refund our drinks. As we sat down to eat, the profanity laden argument continued as we began to eat our now cold "food". The chicken had the consistency of rubber and the ranch tasted like watered down cilantro. The employees refused to give us any type of mustard although they clearly had plenty to spare. The mac n cheese was served as just pasta with no cheese at all because the cook "did not feel like adding cheese to the side item". Overall, I would say this is the worst fast food experience I have ever had and would even go so far as to say that this franchise of Popeyes had worse service and food than the Wendys in Clinton, SC.

Went their with my family today for lunch and the employee taking our order was extremely rude. She was calling out a customers number and when the man didnt hear her the first time she said he, said "man, Im so done with this" when the man came to get his food she shoved it at him and walked away. While taking our my brother wanted to get two legs in his meal and she went off on a tangent about how she just doesnt have time to give everyone legs and I just people just need to get what they get. Later another employee asked us if we wanted two legs in that same meal. My brother accidentally stepped in front of her while she was walking and when he apologized she say "mhm" in a very disgusted tone. While taking out the trash she threw both trash cans on the ground causing a loud bang to resonate through the restaurant. We will not be returning.

My friend and I walked into this Popeyes yesterday at around 6pm last night. there was one couple in line in front of us and no employee at any of the registers.... finally an employee came up and by that time there were several others behind us. our receipt said the order was varied at 608 pm and we then waited and watched literally everyone else get served before us. the final time was 629 pm when they gave us our order and then got part of it wrong... so had to go back in. Yes they ended up giving us extra food for screwing up but my big issue is just about all the other customers were black and we were one of the very few white people in there. I really felt like they were doing what is considered reverse racism which is such bs! I treat people with respect who treat me with respect.

come on people!.......went in there for lunch and the staff were non-stop argueing with eachother, disrespectful to management and customers asking for sauce or pointing out the coke is out...and all this is going on in front of customers! This is not the 1st time I have seen this while in the store, as it seems like every time I go in the staff are out of control. NO professionalism from the staff, and no control from management. Where are these people getting trained?! One good thing, the food is better than KFC, but the attitude of the staff and lack of leadership from management is a serious issue since the place was on the verge of revolt or something. If they were not the ones argueing, they were laughing about it. Someone from corperate should look into this

When we walked in the shift manager was ojt front socializing. She didnt greet us or get someone to help us. The drive thru guy got front counter person and again we were not greeted or asked what we wanted jjst a blank stare. We then ordered our food when it was ready there was a black hair on our chicken! We are all blondes so they fixed our order but made the kids meal wrong so i had to have them fix that too. Food was good just wish service was so crappy!!!! I wont go to this location again. Hire some people that want to work and are friendly!!!!

The service needs to remember, without customers, they would not have a job. The service needs to smile, and be nice to the customer, even if you have to force it. Yesterday evening was my first time there. They lady taking the order was pushy, and not friendly at all. The lady giving me the packaged meal looked like she just woke up, and kind of tossed the package on the counter. All the people working there had frowns on their faces. I will not return.

Horrible drive through experience I have ever had. The girl was rude and started yelling at me once I got to the window. I said to her I wanted a 3 piece dinner she freaked out and said thats not what you f $#%king ordered and its going to be a few minutes know. Waited ten minutes then left. Loved this place when it first came to my neighborhood now me and the community wish they would get better help or just leave.

The other day I came in for lunch and I happened to notice that one of the employees that was working there was a convicted felon. I came across Iowa State Prison booking details earlier that day and noticed something odd after I ordered my food. The woman handing my food was booked for 2ed degree theft. I just didnt feel comfortable with a felon handling my food.

I have not been to Popeyes for 6mos because the food was not good after spending my hard earned money, today on 7/7/2017 we my Son & I we went the location on Merle Hay Road in Des Moines, Iowa. We had an issue with our visit last week. Spoke to the manager Mark. Great guy. He acknowledged the issue. Insured us it would be corrected. Offered a solution that was completely fair. The food was fresh and VERY tasty. We walked away very happy guests. Hats off to Mark and his team there. Eric

We just ordered a large carry out order from this location and it was perfect! Hot and delicious fresh gallons of juice for my office, everyone was working hard and the Manager was super helpful. Thanks so much for making my employees birthday lunch easy and tasty! We will be back :)

This is the Popeyes we specifically try to stop at. I havent come across a restaurant managed better than this Popeyes in a very long time. When they mess up, they fix it AND give you your money back. Forget a side? Have it for free. You will be take care of at this place for sure.

Quality of food was fine but quantity for money was horrible... I got 7 onion rings for 2$..... not worth the amount of time it took to wait for it as well. The staff is friendly and helpful but when you go to a restaurant you go for the food, not entirely the service.
