Yet another Italian restaurant that is lazy and mediocre in their cooking. Usually 7 out of 10 times going here it is good the other 3 it is a complete miss. I have to say I am very exhausted of Italian restaurants (especially ones run by Italians like this place) using heavy cream to dampen the acidity in their tomato based sauces. Unless it says vodka sauce your tomato based sauces should not look pink. This is a sign of laziness to not cook out the acidity of the tomatos and just throw in cream to soften the acidity of the sauce. Their coffee shop on the other end of the block is decent (for pastries but a lot of times their cupcakes are dry and way overpriced) but their espressos are always bitter and sour. Just because you have a create location with no competition you should have some pride in what you offer to the community in your food products.

War dort im April 2014 sehr schöne und gepflegte Inneneinrichtung und sanitäre Anlagen. Service und Speisen von hervorragender Qualität für Deutsche Verhältnisse ist eine Pizza für 2 Personen ausreichend. Allein ist diese Größe für mich zu viel. Wenn ich wieder nach NY komme gehört diese Lokalität zu meinen Wunsch Zielen.

This is one of the few good restaurants in battery park city. The pizza is really awesome and a good price. If you want a quick, good meal in BPC without busting your wallet, this place is a good restaurant to which to go. The pasta is hit or miss but the bread and appetizers are also good. Service is nothing to go on or to complain about.

Had the tropicale (with added pepperoni) and it was delicious, Ill add a picture of it to the page. The pizza was better than what we had at Johns pizzeria, which itself was good pizza. Ate outside so I cant speak for the interior decor, but the outside was very nice, and the area is very clean. Our waitress was busy but very attentive.

Very solid pizza! I work around the corner and we order from here regularly. The grilled chicken paillard ($16 at lunch) is incredible and easily enough to feed two. Its not a pizza buy the slice kind of place, but if you walk a block north to the cafe you can grab one there. The coffee isnt bad either!

Dropped in for a tea and the four cheese (quattro formaggi) panini and we were delightfully surprised by how delicious and enjoyable the food was. Perhaps it was the oozy gooey warm cheese after being half frozen on the way back from Liberty Island...either way well be back for more.

Inatteso Pizzabar is a nice location for the Financial District. The thin crust pizza was excellent and good enough to rival Adriennes Pizzabar nearby. The service was fast and the pizza was made fresh. The decor was classy and the price was reasonable. The Best Part? No wait.
