so for coffee drinkers, if you dont know about Blue Bottle, get your shoes on...if youre not into coffee, like myself, just make sure you make this a destination point and soon. these guys are real artists. i have never seen coffee made this way. they have some weird contraption through which they drip this amazing brew into your cup and finish it off with some super cool design. the aroma in this place is intoxicating. i discovered them on a trip to SF and they finally had the good sense to bring their craft to NYC. of course its a winner with all the wound up coffee addict here, feening for another fix of caffeine. its a bit off the beaten bath on 15th street, but grab a cup and walk up to high line and enjoy the view. this is NY at its very best, even though its brought to us courtesy of some West Coasters.

Our one stop shop for all of our coffee needs whenever were in NYC. Yes, a lot of places have the worlds best coffee but this particular spot has the best ALMOND MILK! Im usually not a fan of almond milk in my espresso drinks because it is actually harder to make it right (w/o burning the milk). You also need to have the right almond milk. Well, the baristas at this Blue Bottle have the right milk and know how to use it! Cold, Hot, it doesnt matter, the almond milk lattes here are the best. The place can get cramped since there really isnt a lot of seating, and the outside view is pretty bland (just the brick side of Chelsea Market). Still, Im not there for sight seeing, Im there for coffee and this is where we come!

This coffee is out of this world! I came here based off of a recommendation and it did not disappoint. I get the New Orleans (about $3.50 I believe), a great cup of iced coffee; very smooth and tasty! The baristas are friendly and help you to find whatever type of roast you are looking for. Their sweet treats are also good. I got the snickerdoodle cookie for my sweet tooth. Just a tip: All of their coffees are one size and it looks small. Also, the prices are a bit high for the size of coffee (comparable to Starbucks pricing), but it fits the boutique-vibe of the shop. There is no small/medium/large option, but the coffee is strong and tasty so I do not mind!

A little piece of home (San Francisco) brought to the East Coast. I LOVE IT! We finished a run along the Hudson and walked on up to the High Line to grab a New Orleans Iced Coffee. They are in the covered area around W15th street and the line is definitely worth the wait. The iced coffee is rich and full of flavor. Extremely refreshing on a warm Summer day! They also have drip style coffee, macchiato, espresso and mocha....DELICIOUS! This place will definitely fulfill your caffeine fix. They roast their coffee in Brooklyn so go visit on Thursdays for "a free cupping!"

It is certainly a good cup of Joe. Just make sure that whomever you are with is also in the mood for coffee or they may not like the wait you have to have for your fix. I first had this at the Embarcadero in San Fran. with my cousin who lives in the area. She was exposing me to this coffee but she had given up coffee for years so it was another of those situations where someone else might be getting perturbed waiting for you to get your slow-drip coffee. But definitely get some to go. I think Giant Steps was a good type.

Le service est adorable et joyeux, super équipe, super café (avec choix) , prix convenables pour le quartier, que vous ayez besoin dune pause sur leur mezzanine ou dun café à emporter, cest le lieu idéal. Merci et bravo !!

As a true mocha lover I can say without much in the way of hesitation that Blue Bottles mocha is on a par with the very best in my travels. Only Philz in San Francisco comes close so far. Also, Blast-a small coffee shop in Teaneck, New Jersey gets a very favorable mention. The problem-you wont look at Starbucks the same way once you have discovered places like Blue Bottle...sorry Starbucks :-(

Blue Bottle coffee is just at another level compared to other coffee places. The baristas are quite odd here but they make a great cup of coffee. The beans, the roast, and the drip process are all perfection and result in a great beverage. Grab a late to keep you warm, or their special Orleans Iced Coffee made with chicory to keep you cool while checking out the nearby Highline.

Gute Kaffeequalität, mit sehr viel Leidenschaft zubereitet. Preislich liegt ein Latte bei $5,17 (inkl. Tax). Abzüge gibts, da nicht komfortable Sitzplätze und keine Toilette.

Tried the Guatemala siphon coffee for $12, which I experienced as a tea-like drink made from coffee, more subtle & fragrant. Worth it for the total experience including watching the brew process and listening to Isabel, who was so knowledgeable about it. A great space for focusing on coffee made with care, clean modern & well lit; limited seating.

The New Orleans-style iced coffee might be a bit expensive, but its worth it. Normal iced coffee is good and fine, but the chicory taste here really adds something. The location may be a little out of the way for some, but if youre touring the Highline its an ideal stop. The staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful - even when theyre slammed.

Part of Gotham West Market, this up market coffee stop is for perfectionists seeking the perfect roast. While the market is a little out the way from central in a more residential urban feeling area, the roast here is strong and concentrated. Service is quick, and there is space to get a table. High tables are handy for those with laptops.

These folks know how to make a great coffee. Everytime someone is looking for a good coffee, I bring them to a Blue Bottle store and so far nobody has complained. At this location, they also have a nice coffee bar behind the main counter where they showcase different styles of coffee (Ive tried Japanese coffee once). Its worth a visit.

I ve been to every location in San Francisco and in New York City. The best by far is the one in the Meatpacking District in NYC. Why? The upstairs has a syphon bar! It is a work of art to watch the master use scientific precision to brew your cleanest cup of coffee. IN the summer the new orleans branded Iced Coffe is stellar!

Ive been wanting to check out blue bottle for years and was excited with high expectations. All expectations where met and exceeded; I had a pour over of the costs rica. Surprisingly smooth finish beginning to end, simply put the coffee roasting and brewing is on point to making a successful balanced cup of black coffee. Amazing!

We eagerly awaited the opening of Blue Bottle Coffee in Manhattan after finding it in San Francisco last year, and were one of the first here on opening weekend a few months ago. I am always looking for an excellent coffee in New York City (yes I am a coffee snob!) and Blue Bottle Coffee is one of our favourites in the city.
