It was my first visit to Williams Bros. BBQ in Douglasville, and my LAST! I went in with my father in-law to pick up one of their family packs to go. I went up to the register to place my order, and the waitress said "do you want the Williams Bros. special"? I said "yes" assuming that thats what they called the family pack (1lb. of pork, slaw, bbq beans, sauce, and 6 buns for $19.99). She rang up the special, which was a little over $50. I then realized I had made a mistake in my order, and apologized for the mistake. The waitress then had to get a manager to void the transaction. The waitress was so rude to us. She repeatedly said "you told me the special, I heard you say the special". She acted as if we had robbed the place. Two other waitress then came up to the register to see what was going on. I apologized for ordering the wrong item, but the first waitress kept saying "you said the special, I heard you say the special". At that time I was about to say "forget it", and just walk out. She was so rude to us, acting like she did, and giving us hard looks. When me and my father in-law got in our vehicle, we commented on how rude she was to us, and how unwelcome we felt there. When we got home to eat, we found that all the buns were stale, and 2 of the buns had mold on them. I was disgusted! I will NEVER go back there! My first impression was totally ruined by HORRIBLE customer service, and horrible stale, moldy food! No second impression is needed because I will never go back. HORRIBLE experience!!!!

If you care about your health please do not eat here period!! Everything that you order here i will guarantee you will send it back to get recooked or you will want your money back. There are a kitchen full of nasty "Mexicans" one was bleeding from the arm today did not cover it up but was still preparing food. They never use gloves to prep or cook food. The waitresses attitudes are just as nasty, they cross contaminate food, dishes and drinking cups daily inside there bus tubs and never separate them and wonder why they never get tips. They serve old food to customers and dont date or cover up their food when they store it. They cross contaminate on a regular they fry all food in the same greese. They use the same nasty white buckets that they use to pour greese, trash, and ashes in to pour baked beans and other food that they serve to customers. These people are disgusting. These are all facts coming from someone who worked in the kitchen and got fed up with all the nastiness.

Food poisoning and poor customer service are their specialties ! My family and I ate there at the beginning of June. Our waitress was mostly absent and not friendly at all. The pie my kids were so excited to try tasted horrible. Myself and another person had a horrible case of food poisoning from the pork platter. We called and were told the manager was on vacation. Never got a return phone call. I also emailed corporate with zero results. These people dont care if they make anyone sick and cost you your health and hundreds of dollars in the process. Dont ever eat there !

Ordered a platter of ribs and sliced pork, with brunswick stew. Effects started soon after leaving when stopping by another store on the way home. Got home maybe 45 minutes later after leaving the Douglasville Ga location. Spent the night sleepless, probably the pork or ribs, maybe the stew. Good tasting food just poor sanitation is my guess. Probably wont be going back. Need to stop by and look at this locations health score. Delivered to many restaurants over the years, a lot of the them never deserved those 90s and above ratings.

Always the best! I travel with my work and I try out BBQ all over the country. I compare all other BBQ to Williamson Brothers and so far no other BBQ restaurant beats Williamson Brothers chopped pork, sauce or sides. Their slaw is the absolute best! My wife likes their BBQ chicken best. I try to schedule my regional trips so I pass through Douglasville at meal time. Hint: If you like the charred outside meat like I do, just ask for it. They will gladly serve it. You can even ask for warmed sauce.

I have been a customer of theres, for over 7 yrs, I honestly have to say, there food, service , atmosphere has hit a all time low. But there prices has steadily increased. I returned ribs several times and each time they were worst that the ones I returned. What was once a fairly good rib place has gone down hill fast. The atmosphere is not very inviting either, not to mention the poor service . I will not recommend them to anyone, my last visit to them was very disappointing , I will not be going back .

Ive tried to eat here 3 times. Its close, it smells good outside... But the food is dry and seems old. The ribs are not fall off the bone. The combos give you spare ribs, not baby back. Who wants spare ribs? And the baby back arent good either. The sides are cold and the Brunswick stew is a disgrace to the name. I tried, 3 times. Ill never waste my time nor money there again. Anyone who doesnt agree with this, doesnt know barbecue, period!

The sauce deserves the fame, of course, but their wonderful beef brisket was a pleasant surprise! As a GA BBQ place they should specialize in pork, and they do. But if you have a friend from TX who just wont eat anything but brisket, take em here. Also, the Brunswick Stew is very good! I recommend adding that fresh pepper on the table to everything. Sometimes the waitstaff is slow but its worth it. They are an icon of GA BBQ.

I just got married on September 20, 2014 and had Williamson Brothers cater my wedding. They were absolutely amazing, they arrived on time, made sure everyone was happy and were helpful whenever needed. The food was outstanding, every guest has complimented me on how amazing everything tasted and how it was hot! They outdid themselves and I will definitely use them again and recommend them for any catering event!

Ordered the brisket platter to go. Got it back to work and the brisket is full of grease and chopped up. You cannot tell it is brisket and it is tough. Paid $12.99 for this platter and cannot eat but half because of the grease. Gross. I have tried this place a couple of times and every time the food is not good. I need to learn my lesson and not go back to high prices and gross food.

The chicken was moist & delicious. The pulled pork a tad dry, I like it to have some of the natural juices, not smothered with sauce. The brisket was not sliced, it was shredded, however it was very delicious. The ribs were also very good. They were out of greens, and I was very bummed! I would of chose the potatoe salad instead, but it was not house made.

I visited the Douglasville location. I met a gentleman named Nacho. While deciding what to order, Nacho was a great help to me. The deep fried corn which Nacho suggested was outstanding. The family special was a great deal for the price. In conclusion, all of the food was great and I will be returning for more of this great food.
